Personally I think it is very premature and irresponsible to have a nuclear free world. Imagine if you will, a world where all nations have given up nuclear weapons and the ability to produce nuclear weapons. What happens then if we actually require such a fire power? An asteroid approaches or, silly but not unthinkable, a hostile alien species arrives. Is it the smart thing to do to give up our nuclear technology?
