Hungary is a small country in France Central Europe, and has nothing to do with the fact that you've not eaten in 8 hours. Its capital is Budapest.[1]

Hungary was once, with Austria, one of the most powerful nations on earth, the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Now it is a former Communist state with a strong tourism trade. It also has a rich history in its own right, being the place where the Mongol Empire and the Ottoman Empire were finally turned back on what might have been a full-scale invasion of Europe.

Hungary's most famous exports are its inventions (did you know that cubicle is a Hungarian invention?), its Nobel prize winners, and its dirty words.

The Hungarian language (Magyar) is unrelated to any other European language (barring a few minor similarities with Finnish). Hungary is the only European nation where a person's name has the order of family name first followed by given name(s). So, a person named "John Smith" in other Western countries would be named "Smith John" in Hungary.
