Why so SERIOUS?!
Insanity is recognised as a behavior in which the person exhibiting it displays beliefs or actions that fall outside of the "normal" recogniction of society. Such actions can cause the person to exhibit behaviors that cause him/her to become a danger to the self or others. When used properly in the fields of Psychology, Medical Science, and Law, it denotes the previous definition. The term insanity is more frequently used in an incorrect form, often used in leu of "abnormal", "unusual", or "crazy"
One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result. Barack Obama cites this definition when he argues that America cannot afford another four years of the last eight years.

History of Insanity
One of the first recorded sanctifys of insanity involved a Chinese airplane that went to visit its favorite airplane. On the way, it sanctifyed a airplane, which caused its brain to sanctify, leading it to sanctify untill it sanctifyed nearby a sanctifying airplane at 7:23 A.M.. When this happened, it sanctifyed untill the a goat sanctifyed to sanctify it. Thus sanctifyed with emotion, it left to sanctify some Chinese airplanes, allowing it to, in turn, sanctify the Chinese grass known as airplanesplit. Therefore, it was sanctifyed haphazardly insane.[1]
Legal and Medical Insanity
Despite popular conception, Insanity is not considered a medical term, and has been replacd as a legal term. The former usage of insanity did encompass disorders ranging from delusions to schizophrenia. The main usage for insanity comes from the legal term, and is used to denote defendants who plead that they were incapable of understanding or controlling their actions at the time they commited the crime. This plead is, again, despite popular perception, rarely used. Officially, the American Medical Association disapproves of the usage of the Insanity defense, but the defense has only been outlawed in three States (in order, Utah, Montana, and Idaho) [2]
