Libertapedia was a libertarian wiki encyclopedia that began in 2004 as Paul Studier's "Libertarian Wiki." The site was intended to accommodate minarchists, anarchists, and all other kinds of libertarians. The site has been down for a rather long time.
In 2010, it was taken over by Nathan Larsonimg, who edits as Tisane, and renamed to its present moniker in accordance with the naming scheme established by Conservapedia and Liberapedia. After the rejection[1] of the pure wiki deletion[2] concept by Wikipedia, Tisane installed the PureWikiDeletion extension[3] he wrote, as well as a Remote Page Existence Detection extension[4] designed to cause wikilinks to pages nonexistent on Libertapedia to link to Wikipedia articles. Larson envisions that eventually Libertapedia, along with much of the rest of the wikisphere, will be superseded by a hyper-inclusionist mirror of/supplement to Wikipedia.[5]
He also enjoys waxing lyrically about his wiki-philosophy.
In the wake of the resignations of four of the most active editors during the April 2010 Libertapedia censorship dispute,[6] he appears to be pretty much the only editor of the Wiki. You can also read articles on his mum[7] and sister[8], where we learn that she is 35, 5' 9" and is polyamorous, pity he left out her turn ons and turn offs.
As of November 2010, even Tisane appears to have left the Wiki (though it would seem this was due to personal legal matters)[9], and the only active editor left is "individualist of the steppe,[10] who now rules the wiki - and rules it out of paranoia.[11][12][13] IotS has since got to work blanking the eugenics article[14] and replacing it with a somewhat disturbing pro-eugenic piece.[15]
