Nephilim in da house

NephilimFree (Evan Phillips of Jackson, Mississippi) runs a YouTube channel on which he posts anti-evolution rants that are stylistically reminiscent of the work of Conservapedia sysop Conservative. In fact, the two have mutually promoted each other within their respective corners of the clogosphere.[1]

His name is a reference to the Nephilim mentioned in the Bible, although what the "Free" means is anyone's guess. He apparently chose his name because he only has five fingers instead of six, and having six fingers would mean he was descended from fallen angels.[2]

In addition to being a fundamentalist, NephilimFree is a geocentrist, supporting an immobile earth that is the center of the universe.[3] He's known for blocking other YouTubers from commenting on his channel just because they are atheists (or just because they disagree with him at all), and sending nonsensical legal threats to YouTubers who dare post videos critical of him (e.g. YouTuber "NephilimFreeFree" created a channel critical of Neph, and received multiple abusive emails from Neph, threatening to sue him and end his career in the military).

NephilimFree is unemployed and lives with a disabled friend, apparently mooching off her Social Security income.[4] Neph appears to do nothing in his free time other than eat, sleep, play online games,[5] and make YouTube videos.

Training

He apparently has no scientific training. According to him, he's an ex-professional photographer trained in the New York Institute of Photography.[3]

Otherwise, he's a self-proclaimed autodidact who studied online by looking at, mostly, YouTube videos for two years. During this time, he admits, he converted very quickly to creationism.

He has no training in theology either; it is God who told him to do YouTube videos about creationism.[6]

See for example, this "news" item at Conservapediaimg, in which Conservative enthuses inarticulately about a video in which NephilimFree enthuses inarticulately about Conservapedia's incoherent "evolution" article. In the video (no longer available) Nephilim mentioned that he had been asked to review the article.
