Massive bump in search engine reputation
One of the most significant jumps RationalWiki has seen is in our search engine reputation. This time last year we were averaging just over 140,000 visitors from search referral. In May we saw 325,504 from Google alone. RationalWiki is appearing higher for more "big" search terms and dominating the top 1-2 spots for less common searches. Content on RationalWiki is being indexed quicker and receiving much higher initial return results than previous years. Since RationalWiki can be used as a publishing medium for anyone, it empowers our global user base to be have a real effect on the discussion about important topics to our mission.
Expanded growth, better stewardship
While continuing to serve up RationalWiki to an ever expanding user base and readership the RationalWiki Foundation has actually managed to cut our monthly costs by over 10 percent. We are all about efficiency and making sure your money is always put directly towards keeping RationalWiki as a great resource.
Future projects on the horizon
With the success of RationalWiki the RWF is looking to expand into some new areas using the principles that made RationalWiki a great resource and website we want to move into other popular internet publication mediums, including open-source collaborative video projects and podcasting. Stay tuned later this year for official announcements.
