New articles

These aritlces have recently been added by the RW community. There may be plenty left to do to.

3CO2 is Green - discussed at Saloon Bar recently. Needs proper refutation by people with some scientific knowledge.
upneutraldown
11Corporal punishment - is it wrong, right, rational, endorsed by crackpot wingnuts or opposed by knee-jerking moonbats?
upneutraldown
6Emergence and Emergent phenomena - Wikipedia on emergence. Basically, where simple rules lead to complex results, giving the "appearance" of design when really it's just simple rules.
upneutraldown
4Risk - not just a board game.
upneutraldown
4Mistaking the map for the territory - A logical fallacy. "It refers to the mistaken belief that a symbol is the same as the reality it represents, and that one's measurements are the thing that they measure." [1]
upneutraldown
6Scientific mythology - stories that convey scientific discoveries in a daramatised sense. Wikipedia has a list that could well be copied and pasted. Very relevant to Flat Earth etc.
upneutraldown
5Nutritionists - I might bang out an article describing these experts of pseudoscience. (Incidentally Ben Goldacre's dead cat is a certified member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, so they must be a very stringent bunch)
upneutraldown
4Operation Red Dog The KKK tried to invade Dominica in 1981 to set up their own government.

Recent suggestions

These are the most recent ideas for new articles.
upneutraldown
-3Intact dilation and extraction - partial birth abortion. We need this. And late term abortion in general.
upneutraldown
2Virginia Foxx - She called Matthew Fox's murder "a hoax"
upneutraldown
7Castillo v. Texas - a man was tried and convicted of selling mature comic books...to an adult...
upneutraldown
5Maoism - still active in India and Nepal
upneutraldown
4Déjà vu - I'm sure we had this article before...
upneutraldown
7English Defence League - not sure if this is a genuine political group, a front organisation or just a bunch of thugs looking for a fight. They keeping cropping up in the news anyway.
upneutraldown
5Complex specified information (or specified complexity) This is a major "concept" in ID that we have no real article on.
upneutraldown
3David Farrant (for more information on him, see the Saloon bar)
upneutraldown
-4Cricket - pops up on the redlinks, (notably fom British Empire), anyone have anything to say about it? (Okay, maybe the drink had a role to play in this suggestion...)
upneutraldown
10National Council Against Health Fraud: seems to be right up our street?
upneutraldown
14Multiple fields of creation science, such as, creation geophysics, creation microbiology and any other field they have had to recreate to make it fit in the genesis story.

Older suggestions

These are older suggestions, but perhaps they still haven't been made yet. Why not give them some love?
upneutraldown
-8Wedding - to compliment our pretty good article on marriage (or possibly even a section in that article). Until you've been on the receiving end of a crazy-assed Bridezilla, you won't understand why this is relevant to RW.
upneutraldown
7Sunday school environmentalism or possibly woo environmentalism - basically all the crap that people think is environmentally friendly. but is really just crap. "degradable" plastic bags that don't degrade in landfill; recycled novelties that actually use more energy to "recycle" than would happen if you made one from scratch; hybrid cars which can have crap mpg etc - see wp:Greenwashing. This is covered as a section in environmentalism but can haz own artikl?
upneutraldown
4Deal or No Deal - One cannot turn this program on (at least the UK version, not sure about elsewhere) without seeing someone claiming that there's a "pattern" or that their "magic crystal" is attracted to red. It started as a fairly straighforward game of chance, but has since almost turned into a walking advertisement for New Age crap. Although as they almost invariably fail, this isn't all bad.
upneutraldown
12Codex Alimentarius
upneutraldown
4Orgonomy http://www.orgonomy.org/index.html, see also wp:orgone and wp:orgonomy
upneutraldown
4Yoga - at present just a redirect to a "fun" page. Woo or not woo? Comment: I don't think they claim it's magic, and it certainly seems like a good personal fitness regimen? - Human
upneutraldown
7Chronic Oxygen Debt Syndrome is a condition most of us suffer from. It has no symptoms of its own. There are no associations hosting fun walks or fund-raising marathons. You won't find the term in medical textbooks. And yet, it exists.
upneutraldown

2Uncertainty tactic - related to FUD. Used by pseudoscience promoters to make it appear that there is uncertainty about scientific consensus, such as global warming, passive smoking and evolution.
upneutraldown
2Frederick Seitz - Did good science unless he was paid not to. Inventor of the uncertainty tactic. Very good article as SourceWatch.
upneutraldown
