Sikhism is a fairly new religion (only a few centuries old), founded in India. Originally a sort of syncretism of both Islam and Hinduism, it is now one of the larger religions in the world. Traditional Sikhs are very distinctive because they are forbidden to ever cut their hair, and instead keep it wrapped up in turbans.[1] They are also required to keep certain items on them at all points, including a comb and some form of knife.
