Going by the massive opposition to liquid threads I have seen here, I think it is fairly safe to settle this matter with a vote.

Vote on what? It is interesting technology that we are playing with. I haven't seen anyone really pushing to do anything with it yet.

The question in the title of this page, for starters.

Another question to vote on might be: Should the Liquid Threads extension be uninstalled for a useless piece of junk, the bits that harbored it degaussed, burned over and sown with salt?

Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX05:44, 22 November 2010

I don't think the title was a hard and fast proposal merely a "lets see how this works." Also I see no problem with keeping it installed and letting people with with it if/when they want.

Tmtoulouse (talk)05:47, 22 November 2010

I have never intended this to be a formal proposal, just lets play with it and see if we like it. There has been some useful feedback and some of it can be passed along to the developers of the extension.

Uninstalling might cause some problems with the loss of archival information, e.g, comments left on my talk page.

We can update it periodically and see if it has improved enough for it to be workable.

If you don't like it click ignore on all the threads and never return to this one page.

What title? I can't see it here. LQT already has stolen far more of my time that it seems worth at this point, simply by intruding on me with crap like "you have new messages" when no one is talking to me.

Yes (To the "Should the Liquid Threads extension be uninstalled for a useless piece of junk, the bits that harbored it degaussed, burned over and sown with salt?" that is.)
