People's army? Either you making fun of communists or you support Gaddafi or your making fun of Anti-Gaddafists. Tell me how the previous regime was tyrannical? Anyways, if I don't like your government I will start the Communist Party of RationalWiki.

Leninist123 (talk)17:28, 15 May 2011

Hand them over to Eira if you're off.

EddyP Great King! Disaster!15:20, 15 May 2011

We should do Musical Crat permanently. If you're the crat, the last thing you do before logging off for the day is to pass the torch to whoever is online at the time.

That sounds like fun.

- π15:24, 15 May 2011

Hmmm seems reasonable, but I don't want to wake up and find the place full of crats again. Can you provide me with a list of people who are likly to be around to sysop?

- π15:22, 15 May 2011

It won't be full of crats - you crat someone else and then decrat yourself. They'll do the same when they go.

EddyP Great King! Disaster!15:24, 15 May 2011

I'll be out most of the day today, it won't do me any good.

So it's "Pass The 'Crat Hat"?

If I remember correctly, you are a fan of The Vandals. Well, here's a song for you.

Conservative Punk (talk)08:17, 15 May 2011

I use to have a Hitler Bad, Vandals Good t-shirt.

- π08:22, 15 May 2011

Ooooh. That shirt is a classic for us Vandals fans!!!!

Conservative Punk (talk)08:27, 15 May 2011

I only ever saw the proform once. It was 40C+ day and they played for less than an hour because the venue was stinking hot.

You could continue the current HCM, or.....

You could take a break from it and come and help me and those wanting to avoid more needless drama celebrate International Feliday at the Saloon Bar. Your choice. Just remember that, if you choose to celebrate, you pet any rusty spotted cats on your way to the Saloon Bar. Thank you.

Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping!06:10, 15 May 2011

Think before you Edit.

You are irrational.

'Irrationality is cognition without rationality.

Irrationality can be broken down into two types: "pre-rationality," which is cognition before rationality, and "post-rationality," which is cognition after rationality.

Post-rationality is the deconstruction of rational grand-narratives, arising from exploring these narratives to their rational logical conclusions. When these conclusions run contra to that which the initially constructed narrative attempted to set forth, the resulting state of mind is post-rationality. So, for example: a scientist who rationally understands that a given culture's myths may not be factually true while still representing metaphoric and archetypal truths, would be said to be post-rational if he engaged in the retelling of these myths and the playing out of the the ceremonies associated with the myths. He would be "irrational" in that he is retelling stories which he knows are not factually true and performing ceremonies which he knows do not have meaning outside of metaphor and archetype, but he is not being pre-rational (which would be simply believing the myths without any rational thought), he is being post-rational.

Künstlerin (talk)02:54, 12 May 2011

Why are you repeating this nonsense here? That is what the talk page of the article is for.

- π02:56, 12 May 2011

What just repeat the nonsense in the talk page? I like it here where you can't delete it. One day you will realise that you are only looking at a fraction of the equation and then you will laugh because an irrational artist was the one who tried to show you the rest first.

Künstlerin (talk)03:08, 12 May 2011

I can delete it here. I think what you meant was I should not delete it from here.

- π03:16, 12 May 2011

You are my favorite type of person to troll. You are far too serious, literal-minded, and eager-to-be-right to engage in rational critical thought. And I love it. So I hope you never ban me. That way, I can keep holding the mirror to you and you can keep ignoring it or pretending that it's not your reflection, and I can keep laughing at you. It's kind of like the difference between Ares and Athene, in that one is the god of war and just loves fighting for the sake of it (you), and the other is the goddess of war but only fights on the side of truth and therefore always wins (me). Do you have a girlfriend, btw? Or a wife? I would feel so sorry for her. lol. =P gawd i hope this doesn't get me banned (yo, coz honestly i am a rational person and really like reading the articles, especially the ones about conservapedia). Künstlerin (talk) 03:29, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Künstlerin (talk)03:29, 12 May 2011

Well you have just admitted to being a troll. Who wants to pull the switch?

How goes it?

ТyTalk.02:11, 14 May 2011

Not bad. My neck is sore because I aggravated an old injury. There are annoying philosophy trolls running around spouting pre-20th century ideas like they are relevant. And some argument or other I don't care about involving the Lost Jumbles.

- π02:14, 14 May 2011

I have some pretty bad knees myself. The two previous topics have mated, I'm sticking clear. Good comeback, by the way.

ТyTalk.02:16, 14 May 2011

That is an old joke, I was happy to get a chance to use it again.

- π02:17, 14 May 2011

I like jokes, but am bad at them. I have loads of funny stories though.

ТyTalk.02:18, 14 May 2011

How does one manually patrol posts in LQT?

I ask because I'm not seeing a way to do this. 05:52, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

C®ackeЯ05:52, 12 May 2011

Hmm, that is an interesting question. I can't patrol so I can't see it even if it was there.

- π05:58, 12 May 2011

You are a Ninja, why not bot yourself?

ТyTalk.14:00, 10 May 2011

Cos I never think of these things

- π14:13, 10 May 2011

Just don't forget to unbot yourself. Dalek once forgot for 2 weeks.

ТyTalk.14:14, 10 May 2011

BTW Hi. No one ever leaves me messages any more.

- π14:14, 10 May 2011

That is a shame, you're a pretty cool guy.

ТyTalk.14:15, 10 May 2011

Not really. I think it is because I haven't been here much this year, not compared to previous.

- π14:17, 10 May 2011

Well, what would you like to talk about?

ТyTalk.14:18, 10 May 2011

Not much, I need sleep.

- π14:19, 10 May 2011

I have to head off or I will wake up with keys on my face. I'll have to catch you some other time.

I am not and have never been Ames, though TK was convinced I was (or possibly someone named Jared?). That was a nice bit of tangential reasoning though, worthy of any conspiracy theorist!

PubliusTalk16:12, 11 February 2011

I thought he didn't have much time for us anymore, but he is a fan of Roman history, so when I made the Cauis/Publius connection, it kind of made some sense. What was actually worrying me was you had over lapping contribution logs with his last cleverly disguised account.

- π23:55, 11 February 2011

Your time is going to come!!!

Your days are numbered, my friend. Numbered. ~

P-Foster (talk)22:46, 2 February 2011

Ah fuck, now I have to change my name.

- π11:05, 3 February 2011

Appears someone changed my password

The last voting eligibility for the RW Foundation Board required only a few months and 75 edits or something, IIRC.

Being that you have openly confessed to voting with sock accounts, I wonder if you have ever had any passwords changed on any of them. I highly suspect this happened to me because on my talkpage there appeared a tricky link to logout, and when attempting to log in again, my password did not work.

PasswordDidntWork (talk)21:28, 21 January 2011

I assume this is Lumenous as I have no fucking idea what you are talking about. I also think you have misremembered your password, as I suspect you have a secure one rather than one that is easy to remember, because you are a paranoid fucktard. As a paranoid fucktard you have obviously attributed to malice what is easier explain by your own incompetence. How were you so stupid as to fall for that? If you put your mouse over a link it tells you in the bar at the bottom of your browser what the link actually is. I don't give a shit other than having this opportunity to laugh at you. Get Nx to reset your password

- π02:57, 22 January 2011

"I assume this is Lumenous as I have no fucking idea what you are talking about."

+1000000

Picon small.pngAcer Blue03:17, 22 January 2011

I didn't attribute it to malice; perhaps this is excellent edumacation.

You do realize if one does not follow the "guideline" directing one to test their logout then it would take one much longer to figure out that their password won't work.

I guess if we are gonna use multiple accounts for voting they also need to have email addresses associated with them so we can get passwords reset? Or maybe Nx will try to identify us by our IP address instead? And what if ey is too busy, LANCB, or dies, and tmrwadmin is too busy, etc?

I wonder if Wikipedia uses the public voting or the black box approach used here at RatWiki. There is an alternative.

What if we go to all the effort of creating accounts that have just enough edits to be eligible, and then the Board decides to up the eligibility time by a month?

Capitalism has it's advantages, I suppose. If we don't like the way RW is run we could always go to other wikis. Would be nice to know if there is any reason to bother with multiple accounts. (And if it will ever be possible for noobs to export LQT or large numbers of other pages... [although half this question could be answered by MediaWiki experts plus testing].)

Phoney (talk)16:24, 29 January 2011

Please, for the love of all that holy, leave and find another wiki.

- π23:09, 29 January 2011

Second. Can we get a mob going here?

Pibot question

I've just started using Pibot, so I don't know much about it, but is there any problem with me manually adding something to an existing archive page?

ThunderkatzHo!20:22, 28 January 2011

No.

this is the year the Jets return to the Superbowl and Sanchez powers them to glory - well, I can dream, can't I.

Jack Hughes (talk)02:06, 9 January 2011

If an outsider wins, it is going to be the Jets. They are currently doing a great job stopping Manning. Damn, touchdown!

- π02:11, 9 January 2011

A superb game against the old enemy last night. Bring on the Steelers!

Still dreaming.

Just a bump to remind you of your nomination for the RationalWiki Foundation board of trustees. You can accept or reject your nomination here. On January 10th, nominations close if you have not signaled acceptance by that point it will be treated as a rejection.

Tmtoulouse (talk)16:18, 7 January 2011

Sorry, but I was under the impression that we were boycotting TK and any WIGOs of his lame trolling over there. Has that policy changed again?

Ψ GremlinFale!10:05, 4 December 2010

Just vote them down until they go away, unfortunately some people will WIGO him any way, besides you got the picture for you blog because of it.

- π10:08, 4 December 2010

Curses! Busted! :) On that subject - isn't there a Greasemonkey app somewhere, that hide WIGOs below a certain value? I'm sure there used to be.

Ψ GremlinFale!10:12, 4 December 2010

Didn't Javascap write a lot of those?

Why is there an irrational number on a rational wiki?

Pointed moment (talk)14:06, 2 December 2010

Shut up, you are not suppose to notice that.

- π14:07, 2 December 2010

too late! the secret is out.

clicking "view whole thread" brought me here. not make sense. also, "add new topic" tab button not work. = beta feedback. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:42, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

I noticed that the other day.

- π04:33, 20 November 2010

And I've fixed orange boxes as well, you should now get them for replies to threads here, like this one. The orange box should go away if you visit your talk page, but the replies will still be marked as unread, so they'll appear on Special:Newmessages.

Bible Template.

A deletion of a template which you've editted is being discussed at Template talk:Bible. Thought you might want a heads up!

DalekEXTERMINATE19:51, 19 November 2010

Why is this a new message to me?

ħumanUser talk:Human03:40, 20 November 2010

It is not a new message to you, it is a new message on a page you are watching.

- π04:34, 20 November 2010

So what does it do that the watchlist doesn't? Totnesmartin (talk) 12:03, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Totnesmartin (talk)12:03, 20 November 2010

I need to turn this off. I am watching over 5000 pages...

ħumanUser talk:Human16:37, 20 November 2010

But this is the only one with liquid thread - and it might not be for longer.

- π23:22, 20 November 2010

I am certain this is not a page I have ever set to watch. I have no idea why I'd be getting messages about it.

Kels (talk)14:31, 21 November 2010

If you have "Add pages I edit to my watchlist" enabled, and have edited this page in the past, then that's how it got added to your watchlist.

-- Nx / talk16:58, 21 November 2010

I wish you would all stop watching me. I feel kind of dirty knowing Human and Kels keep track of my pages.

Is pit bot on the bot server?

Tmtoulouse (talk)07:07, 21 November 2010

Should be, why?

- π07:19, 21 November 2010

Cause the bot server won't exist for much longer, but an alternative is setup. I haven't heard from Nx about transferring them over, are you familiar with the setup being used? I haven't paid attention to the bot server in a long time.

Tmtoulouse (talk)07:23, 21 November 2010

Not really, Nx takes care of most things.

- π07:27, 21 November 2010

Sorry, I had a cold and went AWOL, I'll move the botserver later today.

-- Nx / talk12:22, 21 November 2010

That's okay, get to it when you can. No one pays you to do this stuff, so any time you can spare is greatly appreciated.
