Hello brother

Hello, Maybe we could form a nest? (But a very butch heterosexual one of course.)--Herbert the Hamster 18:04, 4 December 2008 (EST)

I hope things are OK. Come back and say hi when life allows it, maybe. Šţěŗĭļė okra 17:58, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Good luck

Good luck with that young lady needing attention. If you need anything, feel free to hit me up. I can only pay forward the courtesy and support this community has offered me in the past. Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 06:34, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

I moved your new draft to a subpage of the main article, because that's how people normally do that kind of thing. I hope that makes sense. -- Mei (talk) 19:11, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

excellent - thanks
I created a {{wp}} type box, but we don't have an appropriate logo and I can't find it on CAWiki. -- Mei (talk) 19:37, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
thanks , I will ask the other wiki for their logo Hamster (talk) 22:44, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Why/how did you do it?

Why/how did you make the words on the DMCA guy's talkpage smaller? I demand an explanation for such a cool effect! LimpWrist (talk) 06:32, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

I messed up the end tag in my comment small comment text and back to normal Hamster (talk) 06:36, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Nice! I'll have to remember how to do that for later. LimpWrist (talk) 06:37, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

God damnit man!

You'll just fucking confuse him! I have been cultivating this for some time now. Damn it, you know how hard it is to get him to focus on a single topic. Acei9 06:22, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

That is the problem I use to have when arguing with Ken over there. Once I had him cornered, other people would come along with their pet gripes and give him an out. - π 06:33, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks Pi, That is exactly what I meant. Acei9 07:01, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Oh yeah.....

I sent you an email. Acei9 00:00, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

I can't deal with the twistedness of ASK this week. PJR and apparently Bradley live in their own, isolated world. Sterile okra 12:52, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

I lost track of how many times this same discussion has happened , it never seems to change :( Hamster (talk) 14:00, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm half tempted to write an essay on "the intellectual dishonesty of PJR's creationism" here, but it's not worth it. Perhaps we're at the last exodus, and PJR and Bradley can stare at each other making their personal wiki regurgitating CMI. I can't imagine how long Philip can afford to keep it on-line. I was curious at the appearance of the couple new names. Was entertaining but then same-old. Hamster (talk) 16:23, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Mousse vs. Cake

I wish to debate you regarding the recipes of Mousse vs. Cake. Mouse actually doesn't have any flour in it. But the interesting question is, since cake is mostly just sugar, beaten eggs, and milk, couldn't it be said that a cake is simply Mousse + flour and baking? --Eira OMTG! The Goat be Praised. 03:19, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

If you add just a small amount of flour it firms up the mousse slightly and keeps it from softening in the heat. Its a pastry chef type of trick to keep things good in varied temperatures. Its a little bit like a pastry cream thats made with flour. Addd more flour and bake in a water bath and you get something more cake like. This was on a cooking show recently. You are right about the mousse / flour etc = cake.
Ah yes... I definitely could have used that when I tried to make my mint chocolate-chip mousse. I whipped the eggs up to soft peaks, whipped the whipped cream, and turned to look at the eggs, and they had already fallen. Took them forever to even get to soft peaks in the first place. I should have known better... another trick, I know of is to use corn starch, this adds less flavor per stabilizing unit, and is actually why they recommend to use confectioner's sugar, because it has corn starch to prevent caking. But you're pretty much right on the dot, if I added flour and cooked a mousse, I would get a cake. :) Have you tried frozen mousse? It's awesome. It doesn't require constant churning like ice cream does, because it's stable on its own, however it comes out significantly more fluffy than creamy, and melts super fast. But still a big yum! (For the record, me vs. mousse right now is 5 to 1... mousse's favor. :( I totally get why some people just go with flavored whipped cream, and call it mousse.) --Eira OMTG! The Goat be Praised. 07:53, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Then what the hell is a flourless chocolate cake? I always viewed it as a wet but firm souffle. ÑR/Señor Admin/¡hablen ustedes! 17:49, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
