Revision as of 04:20, 1 May 2014
- The 2008 election night party is enshrined at this dump. Thank you all for popping in, it was a blast!
- The May 20/21 2009 RationalWiki second birthday party is here. There may still be some stains on the carpet, so be careful.
- The May 20-22 2011 RationalWiki fourth birthday, strangled as it was by the Rapture, is found here
- Somewhere around here I usually express my preference for avoiding table-tennis conversations. If I muck up your talk page, I'll stalk you until you reply there. If you defame my lovely estate of ones and zeros here, I'll add some random non sequitur to it here. Cheers! ħuman
- Threads over 45 days old are automatically archived by an irrational "bot". Mostly I'm reverting to manual, the old seven day thing resulted in people saying things to me I never even saw.
- Here is my special archive for sticky threads.
You have been smitten by a bunny in accordance with the community standards for... no real reason. Feel free to revert this odd edit.

The list may be kind of long (sticky)
but it could be a hell of a lot longer. I also think we need more descriptions, I encourage that. Rabbitxhampster (talk) 04:57, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

"Most members of the conventional press are, of course, cowardly minds. They almost universally buy the corporate spin (or the White House spin) and never ask any tough questions anymore. Some of the REAL heroes -- the people who are asking intelligent questions about our world -- include:
- Alex Jones
- Jeff Rense
- Charlotte Gerson
- Jonathan Landsman
- David Icke
- Jesse Ventura
- Gerald Celente
- Ron Paul
- Robert Scott Bell
- Dr. Andrew Wakefield
- Suzanne Somers
- Dr. James Forsythe
- George Noorey
Do you see a pattern here? Each one of these individuals has been marginalized or viciously attacked and slandered simply because they chose to ask intelligent questions about the world around them. Now, I don't agree with every single thing said by each one of these people, but I admire each of them for having the courage to ask the questions that need to be asked if we are to move forward as a society (and civilization).

I was talking about something you said on my page, but wow. Isn't Andrew Wakefield a vaccine crank? Ron Paul, Alex Jones, I guess you're more of a libertarian-liberal than a standard liberal, huh? I'm not Obama's bitch either. Rabbitxhampster (talk) 04:57, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Human's quoting that not for something he agrees with, but for...something. A list of people we need articles on? B/c I doubt that Human would respect almost anyone on that list. And besides Wakefield, Rense, Icke, and Jones, etc., the page that's coming from claims there's a cure for cancer. So to say that Human's posting that as something he agrees with means Human possibly the biggest deep-cover mole in internet history. ThunderkatzHo! 05:04, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

From an email about the Texas biology textbook controversy
"The most recent review of biology textbooks was a particularly egregious process considering the people who were invited to participate. Here are just a few of the reviewers who are listed in the Creation Science Hall of Fame as “Darwin Skeptics”4:
- Raymond Bohlin, a research fellow for an organization whose purpose is the promotion of “intelligent design” — a religious idea which seeks to cast doubt on evolution while circumventing the Supreme Court ruling that bars the teaching of “creation science” in public schools.5
- Walter Bradley, who helped launch the "intelligent design” movement with a book he coauthored, titled The Mystery of Life's Origin.
- Ide Trotter, a wealthy funder of anti-science organizations who has repeatedly participated in science textbook reviews advocating for the inclusion of scientifically discredited theories about the weaknesses of evolution."

Banking crisis
Human, the Banking crisis is a travesty of crap. Makes RW look irrational and ignorant. It was written by british socialists with a hard on against maggie thatcher without a clue of US law, politics, or regulatory environment. Here's useful material, but the damn commies won't let me edit the page.
What the fuck's happened to RW? it's gotten like WP with the thought police. what a pity. nobsJesus loves you and I love you, but nobody else does. 21:31, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

- The talkpage of the photo in question is an ideal starting place, followed, perhaps, by a quick blurb about it in the Saloon Bar to draw attention to the subject. Naturally, we should also demand that whomever is making the claim provide proof that they are the originator of the material. Reckless Noise Symphony (talk) 07:18, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
