Apply for tech already
You're good with MediaWiki and javascript, and you're around way more than Trent, David, Nutty, Tyrannis, or Blue. We could use you.

- If by "good" you mean "sometimes knows a solution to the problem"—chances are Nx will come along and say that that's a very inefficient way to do it or whatever. And term will start soon enough, you know. Peter mqzp 01:16, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- You mean you're not some sort of Kiwi automaton? Dang.
Radioactive Misanthrope 01:28, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- You're thinking of Mr McWicked. Peter mqzp 01:31, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- Certainly not. "Automaton" would imply they actually do stuff :-)

I take it you do not like people who hate Nazis
Based on your behavior, I have decided to warn you against taking action against users who hate Nazis, as this causes serious concern about your political views. Please be aware that pro Nazi behavior will result in being blocked from Rational Wiki. ఠ_ఠ Тод Зенос ан форфар фор 08:03, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- Really, really bad jokes. You need to work on that. Peter mqzp 08:08, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Mikulski
You can't ban me because my post on Mikulski is true. She has (based on height) as big of a B.M.I. as Barney does. It's also very creative and unusual. Also, now that I think about it, don't you think it would be hot if her and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen had hate sex on the Congress floor with the type of subtlety and bad acting that a porn movie has? I'd pay like $75 or more to see that. --209.18.48.12 (talk) 06:58, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Nobody is banning you, but your WIGO submission was commented out because WIGO:World is not the appropriate location to call women fat. Please read the newcomer guide and community standards. Ochotonaprincepsnot a pokémon 06:59, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- I have the rollback and reviewer permissions on Wikipedia and I have influential friends on Encyclopedia Dramatica that I'm doing an important project for so I already know how wiki's work and the type of rules they require. --209.18.48.12 (talk) 07:03, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

- RationalWiki Is Not Wikipedia. Peter mqzp 07:11, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- (edit conflict, whee) Maybe you haven't figured it out, but this isn't Wikipedia. You made an edit to WIGO:World that was inappropriate. I commented it out and then gave you the standard welcome template and asked you to read the community standards. I am asking you to please read the community documentation for the wiki you wish to contribute on. I do not believe that I am being unreasonable, here. I'm a Wikipedia administrator, so your claims about having rollback over there don't impress anyone much, and don't mean squat anyway. VOXHUMANA 07:57, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- But they're "influential" on ED. You can't take that from them!
Radioactive Misanthrope 10:14, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Shouldn't being influential on ED give you less credibility? (talk to a) Nihilist 22:18, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the fix
Should have fixed it myself, sorry for the mishap! Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 03:17, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Whaddya think of...
User:Voxhumana/Sandbox#Format_experiments. The only reason I want sections is because without them writing the annotations will be a nightmare. But apparently we don't need any words in the section headers, and we can still get the "edit" buttons. VOXHUMANA 07:39, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
- That looks pretty good, actually—though it will mean that I need to remove the references to "in this section" I've placed in the annotations, but that's no biggie. Also, have you encountered the
{{sbs}}template? It may simplify the column arrangement, if you can figure out how to use it. Peter mqzp 07:44, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah SBS was the very first thing I tried. I got it to work but I didn't like the results. To be honest though, I'm struggling to remember off hand what is was I didn't like (I tried so many different things)... I think it was the fact it put big headings in places I didn't want. VOXHUMANA 08:06, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think you have to use those headings, which are pretty ugly now that you mention it. So long as we don't break them the table system should be fine though. Peter mqzp 08:10, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

OK, I remember now! This was the problem, to add a commentary you have to type inside the template brackets {{sbs|Original text|Rational response}}. Once there was more than a few lines of text it became really hard to figure out where to start typing. Being able to click on a simple "EDIT" button was so much easier. VOXHUMANA 08:35, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
- I think you can still put headers inside the sbs template (so long as you remember the "1=" part). Anyway, some of us have to sleep—I'll be back in 12 hours or so to write some more. Peter mqzp 08:38, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Kind of figured
When I saw the change in the activity log, I kind of figured it wasn't admin. Captain Swing (bringer of nachos) 05:54, 22 March 2013 (UTC)

Kenneth Miller
He's qualifying the expert under Federal Rule of Evidence 702. Look at Daubert and Kumho Tire. This is going to come off as unpleasant but I really don't mean it to: I wouldn't spend more than the 30 seconds I did reading laymen analyze a federal court trial transcript. ![]()

- Apologies for my ignorance Nutty, but is your background in law? If so, even if you don't have time to get fully involved in this project, it would be great if we could ask you questions along the way. VOXHUMANA 04:37, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, don't think you're going to get anywhere there. Good call on the revert. L'homme de la Perspective Discusez? 08:38, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Impersonation
I started to realize that. I did it in response to the Inquisitor Behrenstein he created. I did realize that visibly, my user name was exactly the same his, so I should do something to tone it back, like not having a full transclusion of his talk pages, seeing as that would be seriously confusing. I wasn't intended to be problematic. –Inquisitor Sasha (Talk | contribs | block) 03:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
- You shouldn't need to start to realise that, it should be obvious from the beginning. Maybe you should work on being less impulsive? Peter mqzp 03:35, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
