accuracy
I believe we are often very correct, particularly on matters of science where our more distinguished editors contribute. Perhaps we can use more references in some areas, but other wise I think we are a reliable wiki--"Shut up, Brx." 22:26, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
correction
My bad. You have a point. Thanks for the correction!

Accurate History at Conservapedia!
I haven't fact checked it, but Conservapedia's page on Sumerians states that they used irrigation for agriculture as early as 4000 BC. Whether that's true or not, they're saying that an ancient civilization was one of the first to use this agricultural method as far back as the "creation" of the world (something that doesn't sound too in line with a literal interpretation of the Bible if you ask me).

Deletion of talk page
Just to let you know, we're the only wiki in the world that keeps the talk page when we delete articles. Yeah, weird, I know. It's so that the deletion discussion can be kept for future reference. your essay
I read your essay on inflation which I found interesting. Here is one I wrote. Aceof Spades

- Thanks. A question about yours though - how does the vacuum (is it the false vacuum or the true vacuum?) get its energy? Isn't a vacuum just nothing? SoCal But said it would be legal... 02:13, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
- There can never be nothing, if there was ever nothing there would still be nothing! It is a quantum field, "nothing" is in fact a seething mass of virtual particles. Aceof Spades
02:18, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
- But I thought the particles got their energy from the vacuum. If the vacuum's a seething mass of virtual particles, the particles get energy from themselves? That's the one part of your essay I didn't quite understand. SoCal But said it would be legal... 03:04, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
- The vacuum has an energy state, which yes the virtual particles borrow. Where the energy comes from, well, that is a mystery. String theory? Multi-verses? Aceof Spades
