New logo large.png Your welcome to RationalWiki is lukewarm at best, Talsley.

This observation is due to the nature of your initial edits. Pull up a goat and try not to make trouble.

We realize it is possible that you do not understand the nature of the site or our objectives.

Please see our guide for newcomers and our community standards to clarify things for you.

If you're still interested in contributing, please see what our articles are intended to be.

Why? What did I do wrong? Talsley (talk) 15:24, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Your edits to the Maharishi article were without citation. Granted, what you removed wasn't cited either, but on this wiki such claims are allowed so long as they're easily verifiable. Also, your talk page edits expose you as a crank. You're free to stick around, but you won't be very popular.--"Shut up, Brx." 15:27, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I am not a crank. That was a smear attack on the Maharishi! I was improving the article! Talsley (talk) 15:29, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
It's not an uncommon allegation. A better improvement would be to refute the claim, with citations. That would certainly not be reverted.--"Shut up, Brx." 15:33, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
But how do I cite a person? Talsley (talk) 15:34, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Find a website that refutes the allegations of sexual misconduct by the Maharishi, then put the url between these tags:<ref>www/examplewebsite.com</ref>. Do try and find a reputable site, and not just some blog. You may also cite magazines, books, or newspapers, but that's a little trickier.--"Shut up, Brx." 15:40, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
No, I mean citing my friend Hope. Talsley (talk) 15:41, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
You can't just cite your friend. It has to be something of scholarly significance. Maybe your friend has written something on the matter, or can point you to whatever led her to form this opinion in the first place?--"Shut up, Brx." 15:43, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Now listen. Hope is a very intelligent and spiritual person, she runs our retreats. I'm not spending my social security on a fraud! Talsley (talk) 15:45, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Go to google. Type in Mahrishi sex scandal. Find results which proclaim his innocence. Give me the results and I'll add them to the article myself.--"Shut up, Brx." 15:49, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Google isn't giving me anything. I'll have to ask Hope next time I see her. Talsley (talk) 15:54, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I am of the opinion that this user is a parodist.

I place this here for purposes of informing others who entertain similar suspicions, and for discussion.--"Shut up, Brx." 16:54, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

I am of the opinion that you are a gullible moron. Talsley (talk) 16:55, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I am of the opinion that socks abound.--BobSpring is sprung! 17:15, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I am not wearing any socks right now, and why do you care? Talsley (talk) 17:18, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I am of the opinion that Brxbrx is a loudmouthed dropout with bad judgment and an overinflated sense of himself who you should disregard lest he get the negative attention he was seeking. Oh shit... Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svg 17:33, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
No, this user is actually a parodist. A really bad one at that. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 17:44, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
Rather than answering me, you say "she's a parodist". If that doesn't show you have no proof nothing does. Talsley (talk) 17:48, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Pi*10^5 block for trollery

See you tomorrow, Talsley. Try not to be a dick when you come back. EVDebs (talk) 18:13, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

See, if I had done that, Nutty Roux would be swallowing down his bile--"Shut up, Brx." 18:54, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
I don't think any of your spite, noob, or IP blocks was that short. But thanks for randomly mentioning me yet again. I must figure very prominently in your life. I am proud. Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svg 15:30, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Typical liberals, denying me my 1st amendment rights. Talsley (talk) 12:08, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
If you're out to prove you're not a troll, you might not want to say stupid stuff like this. (ʞlɐʇ) ɹǝɯɯɐHʍoƆ 14:48, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
I'm smelling Poe, but that's the thing about Poe, you never know until you see the smiley. Bad Faith (talk) 14:55, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
You ridicule me, but you have only offered few shreds of evidence. Talsley (talk) 14:56, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
a few shreds of evidence - which is far more than you have offered. All you offer is unfounded poppycock. Bad Faith (talk) 15:21, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Belief is more important than evidence. And any evidence I offer will just run contrary to your liberal indoctrination! Talsley (talk) 15:22, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Now I am calling Poe. Just when I was having fun you go and ruin it by overcooking the goose. Bad Faith (talk) 15:25, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
How do you think prayer works? Talsley (talk) 15:26, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Badly. Bad Faith (talk) 15:30, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Then how does God talk to me? Talsley (talk) 15:32, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
There is no god, you're only hearing the echoes of your own mind. Bad Faith (talk) 15:37, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
I meditate for 3 hours a day, and God talks to me. I can hear his voice in my mind. You are listening to psychobabble. Talsley (talk) 15:39, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Well, one of us is, that's for sure. Incidentally this organisation is for those who hear voices. Bad Faith (talk) 15:42, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Are you implying that I am crazy? Talsley (talk) 17:00, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

"I am a strong believer in the South."

Like my 6-year-old is a strong believer in Santa Claus? B♭maj7 "Voted in two different votes, but there was never a vote." 15:01, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

I think it's a conspiracy of cartographers. They're all in it together, financed by Big Pharma. Bad Faith (talk) 15:03, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Southern values like charity, kindness, politeness, and family. You fools probably have been brainwashed into thinking that the civil war was about slavery. Everyone knows that it truthfully was about State's Rights. There's a reason the South has the lowest crime rate in the world. Talsley (talk) 15:10, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Another unfounded and untrue assertion. I'll bet your eyes are brown, that's how full of shit you are. Bad Faith (talk) 15:17, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Mind your tongue. Talsley (talk) 15:17, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
The civil war was largely a conflict of different cultures. The south was an agraic honor-society, the North an industrial, urban (as much as that was possible at the time) and liberal (again, for that time). The only reason it was also about slavery is because the Southerners would have had to pay actual money to get workforce then. Puts a whole new meaning to "wage slavery". I want evidence for the crime rate thing - no wait that's bullshit anyway. --ʤɱ secularist 15:28, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
When I was growing up on the Eastern Shore, there was never a crime in town. When I lived in Mississippi, nobody needed to lock their doors at night. Talsley (talk) 15:29, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
When you lived in Mississippi you could walk home safely at night by the light of the burning crosses. Bad Faith (talk) 15:32, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
I never saw a single one. Cross burning and flag burning should be illegal. Talsley (talk) 15:34, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
As the late, great, Nina Simone sang, Everybody knows about Mississippi Goddam - or maybe she was a shill for Big Pharma. Bad Faith (talk) 15:39, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Never heard of her. Talsley (talk) 15:43, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

You cowards! Attacking an old lady and censoring me! Talsley (talk) 15:24, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Who you are and how old you are doesn't matter. It's your behavior that earned you the block. EVDebs (talk) 16:10, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
