Hello.
From your userpage, you seem intriguing. Btw, if you need any help with anything, feel free to come to me first. I don't have all the answers, but I know who does. Gooniepunk2010 Oi! Oi! Oi! 05:35, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm I agree there. Former Neo-con? Interesting....are you Francis Fukuyama? Aceof Spades 06:48, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
No. In fact I do not know who that is. I was basically raised by puritans: no tv(except cheesey old movies), no internets, and nothing to listen to but talk radio and jazz. Transferring to public school was a major shock, I assure you--Tyrannis (talk) 00:42, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey guys
I'm studying Russian in college, and will be adding a few Russian political articles. Please, please clean them up, I'm still unfamiliar with wiki software, and can't do links. Fact checking by any Russian speakers would be appreciated, I've only got 1 semester done, so I'm getting most of the data from English language sites. Tyrannis (talk) 15:33, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Question
I know a person who is into herbal medicine, meditation, and other woo, but also watches only Fox, and has a sort of crush on O'Reilly and Beck. And they are also an environmentalist, and for strong corporate accountability. What category would this person be in? Tyrannis (talk) 14:00, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Political Compass
Just took it... I am surprised. Tyrannis (talk) 14:40, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Never take that too seriously. The test was designed so one UK political party came off ultraconservative. TKEtoolshedFrag Out! 14:46, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah... It lists me as far left... Nolan chart listed me a libertarian-right. Methinks there is an error in the system Tyrannis (talk) 14:48, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Ideas
I am contemplating writing an essay about how my political affiliation changedTyrannis (talk) 00:09, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- Go for it. We love essays. Just title it "Essay:xxnnnyyzzz" and write it. If you want to work on it before going live, put it at User:Tyrannis/xxnnnyyzzz and then move it to the essay space when you're ready for prime time. ħuman

- the Prophecy of the Bluelinks:"And it came to pass that all text in the articles was bluelinks. And every article linked to every other article like computers in a mesh topology. And there was much rejoicing. For lo, when that day came, Conservapedia's server was overcame by fire and water. And the people of the internets rejoiced for the wingnuts were defeated and there was much rejoicing. And then the people feasted on goat, and seakittens, and pie. And it was good."— Unsigned, by: Tyrannis / talk / contribs

- Done for the day. Question, should I link to an article more than once per article, there doesn't seem to be a standard.Tyrannis (talk) 21:01, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- You should like the first usage. If it is a long article then you could link again at another significant point - but only if it is quite a long article. I must admit that I thought we had this instruction somewhere, but I can't find it now.--BobIt's windy! 21:22, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

- I mentioned it in the talk page for Human's Manual of style. I agree with Bob. First use, and only link again if it seems particularly significant. Thanks for all the linky stuff. --
Ask me about your mother 21:34, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- I added it before I set it loose to fend for itself. Also added not to link in headers. One thing that sometimes irks me is when something that is linked in an article is also in "see also" - might make sense on long article for "major" see also, but other wise it's just redundant. Anyway, nice work all around, Tyrannis! PS, I like my new lappie + wireless KB & mouse... ħuman
