Bastyr University
Bastyr University or, Bastyr University of Naturopathic Medicine is a university that teaches naturopathic medicine. The university has campuses on the west coast of the United States and is accredited by the Western Association of Colleges and Schools.

Bastyr offers undergraduate degrees in Herbal Sciences, Health Psychology, Exercise Science, Culinary Arts, Chinese Acupuncture. Graduate degrees include the same subjects and thy offer a doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine. Most of what the university teaches is either faith-based or pseudoscientific.[citation needed] Here is an example of classes required for the Bachelors of Science in Herbal Sciences.

Many of these treatments are based on homeopathy and have been declared pseudoscience by the American Medical Association and many actual medical scientists. Many of these treatments also do not work or are dangerous to a person's health.

This school has "research" facilities that are dedicated to researching naturopathic medicine.[citation needed] However, proper scientific research generally dismisses their research and much of their research is based on pseudoscience.[citation needed]

Bastyr University opposes vaccines because they claim they are not natural.[citation needed]
