Columbus[edit]

Doesn't the answer about Columbus ("He did what he did because God guided him") take all the achievement out of his hands? Seems to me giving all the credit to God diminishes anything he might have done, since after all he was on holy autopilot the whole time. --Kels 18:33, 13 September 2008 (EDT)

I love that a professional sailor with decades of experience can only find his way back to a place because of gods help and the fact that the a bunch of religious reformers got lost (why didn't god help them) over 125 years later proves this --BoredCPer 18:39, 13 September 2008 (EDT)
