Folks, please mine the past and fill this out, and add the future when it gets here!

I may change the dates to headers, so a TOC gets built... humanbe in 21:16, 8 June 2007 (CDT)

The Register[edit]

Wow, RW is starting to hit the big time. Better smarten this place up! --Stevo 09:28, 20 June 2007 (CDT)

Heh, was just about to post about the Reg feature, looks like I was beaten to it. That will teach me to spend all day working instead of on the internets...XD Trashbat 16:30, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
There have been a few pick-ups on blogs, etc. on the LA Times story, one by UPI and one by USA Today (a blog). [1] Sterile 10:51, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

Time to create RationalWiki:In the media? humanbe in 11:18, 22 June 2007 (CDT)
Well, a google search on RW throws up a few pages of articles so now might be the time. Trashbat 11:20, 22 June 2007 (CDT)
I'd be more reticent. Since all the articles are to do with conservapedia, maybe make it a subsection on this article, but we'd just be repeating ourselves cos we'd have to mention each article in the cp pages. I think until (if) the scope of this place gets wider then we should hold off a bit. maybe. δαιισρΗταλκ 11:24, 22 June 2007 (CDT)

syndicated stories[edit]

I think the LA Times syndicated their story, and I know UPI wrote a story based on the Times story. Do we want to try to collect printings of those? I've got a bit of a completist streak, so I'd likely try it, but I can't honestly say there's much interesting to say about them.

Yeh they did, from a google news search last week i found two non-LA Times articles (one from the florida times if memory serves). I don't think there's much interesting stuff to be had describing what was in the articles unless there is some selective editing of them, but maybe a list of publications which reprinted the article could be good. Buzzflash[edit]

I'm not familiar with Buzzflash so don't know if this will get any real attention, but it's interesting -- we finally find out what PF Fox's story is. --jtltalk 12:54, 29 June 2007 (CDT)

Another blog picked it up - Conservapedia and The War Against Truth. Meanwhile, google news now shows up the buzzflash article when searching for conservapedia. Another fun bit to read - the blogs. --Shagie 22:36, 29 June 2007 (CDT)

Pam Troy has been writing on and off for several months now...CP user PF Fox. She's quite good. If you google her you'll find her other articles.--PalMD-yada yada 01:14, 30 June 2007 (CDT)

wtf[edit]

"July 1, 2007"

What is this, the fucking future?! Sheesh... humanbe in 20:20, 30 June 2007 (CDT)

The magic of publication dates and/or timezones. --jtltalk 23:08, 30 June 2007 (CDT)
Yah, you call it magic, I call it Satanism! Freakin' time zone wierdoes! humanbe in 03:39, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
I expect to see a Blogs4Brownback article on timezones any day now! ɱ@δ ɱ!ɳHello?/I did this! 07:29, 1 July 2007 (CDT)

Gay blog and Conservapedia[edit]

Occasionally I like to toss 'conservapedia' into Google news to see what blog is ridiculing Conservapedia now...

http://www.queerty.com/news/conservapedia-knows-the-gays-20070711/

It even comes with an absolute gem critiquing the grammar.

Homosexuality is an immoral sexual lifestyle between members of the same sex. It is more than simply a sexual act, it is going beyond the boundaries that God has setup for marriage; one man and one woman.

They’re so afraid of sodomy, they can’t even use a colon, except when it comes to allegedly anti-gay biblical references, which they list directly after their definition.

They've got a good graphic too. --Shagie 13:37, 17 July 2007 (CDT)

Wonkette[edit]

Should the Wonkette story be included in this page? KlapauciusEsteemed Constructor 15:30, 29 January 2009 (EST)

I forget if this is supposed to be limited to print & TV type media or not, but well-known bloggers would seem, these days, to be the equivalent. So, yes? ħumanUser talk:Human 15:44, 29 January 2009 (EST)
I've put it in. KlapauciusEsteemed Constructor 15:53, 29 January 2009 (EST)

Der Spiegel[edit]

German magazine Der Spiegel wrote also an article about CP. Here is it in English: [3] --217.85.162.197 (talk) 18:08, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
