  • Bigotry - Ed Poor
  • Delusions of Grandeur - RobS (surprise I was sure Ken would take that one)
  • Heavy-handed - TK
  • Idiocy - Ed Poor
  • Inaesthetic - Conservative (actually Freedom 777 and Jallen got perfect 10 but they only received 1 vote each and Ken deserves recognition.)
  • Liability - Bugler
  • Liar - TerryH
  • Power crazed - Bugler
  • Puerility - Conservative

Arrogance[edit]

Nominations - Arrogance[edit]

TerryH - "Under the authority of Mr. Schlafly, I am now going to oversee this Project in the name of the administration. My qualifications are these: I can read Greek almost as fast as I can read English, and I've begun a study of Biblical Hebrew. I've also been an administrator for a long time, and I would have the time to devote to this Project that oversight would require." Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 13:11, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Don't forget his constant bragging about his 'lexicons' and 'I translated a whole gospel in a week' Broccoli 13:19, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
The whole taking-over-parts-of-the-CBP bit makes TerryH the man to beat in this category (the CBP itself belongs under Delusions of Grandeur. Andy's recent reluctance to accept any of Roger's criticisms of the B.S. in the Relativity was my runner-up, but I think that deserves it's own category for "Greatest HITS (Head-In-The-Sand) Performance". --SpinyNorman 15:48, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Andy - for claiming to be inspired by God and for ignoring criticism in every form. Tetronian you're clueless 17:14, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

The 'Under the authority of Mr Schafly...' award? Broccoli 13:24, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
That does presuppose that TerryH wins. - π 13:25, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

The Al Gore - Invention of the Internet Award Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 13:34, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Nice, definitely a front runner. May inventor instead. Did he actual say that or was it mined out of all proportions? - π 13:35, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1999/03/09/president.2000/transcript.gore/
-- Nx / talk 15:06, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
He claimed to have provided funding for the development of the internet... and it's actually true.
From WP: Internet pioneers Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn have also noted that, "as far back as the 1970s, Congressman Gore promoted the idea of high speed telecommunications as an engine for both economic growth and the improvement of our educational system. He was the first elected official to grasp the potential of computer communications to have a broader impact than just improving the conduct of science and scholarship [...] the Internet, as we know it today, was not deployed until 1983. When the Internet was still in the early stages of its deployment, Congressman Gore provided intellectual leadership by helping create the vision of the potential benefits of high speed computing and communication. As an example, he sponsored hearings on how advanced technologies might be put to use in areas like coordinating the response of government agencies to natural disasters and other crises."[48] 157.193.206.103 22:59, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
That just goes to show you how government intervention and assistance programs don't work and are waste of tax-payer money. - π 23:38, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
How about the "Andrew Jackson Manifest Destiny" award for arrogance? --SpinyNorman 23:59, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
This discussion was moved to Debate:Michelle Obama's shoes.

Bigotry[edit]

Nominations - Bigotry[edit]

Everyone - Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 13:11, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Do you want to be more specific or do you really want to nominate everyone? - π 14:11, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I do think that this could be shared but awarding it might be a problem. Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 14:14, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

It's great. You gonna mock up the rest of them for us to comment on, too? I'd suggest different colored borders for each one? Or should they all be a shade of excrement like this one? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:15, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Andy for the win - the Conservative Bible Project, with his claims of being guided by the Holy Spirit, paired with the scathing condemnation from right-wingers and the WND, makes him untouchable in this category. --SpinyNorman 15:52, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
And don't forget bitch slapping his brother at cp:relativity. Andy FTW indeed. Tetronian you're clueless 15:55, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Seconded. TK's done more to block or drive away editors and IP ranges than anyone else, and Andy seems to enjoy the silence. --SpinyNorman 15:55, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
His unilateral decision to declare several key editors "retired" before wiping out their user pages and uncomfortable talk-page criticisms is also a standout performance. --SpinyNorman 16:51, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

This was my favorite, with the "Agriculture" medal being a standout. These were done in December 2008, though, so are we doing this on an anniversary-year or calendar-year basis? --SpinyNorman 16:07, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
They were after the last CP Day so should be eligible. Although, like the Oscars, it's often the more recent stuff that comes to people's minds. Unlike Ken's random MainPageLeft additions, the CP Medals were "designed" by someone who claims on their WP user page to ... hold certificates in Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, and Photoshop. BTW, Dentistry was my particular favorite. Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 16:33, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

It really works better in the long form, so I'd leave it as-is. Makes me wonder if we need a "Sarah Palin Going Rogue" or "Maverick" category, with PJR as this year's clear winner. --SpinyNorman 16:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Nah, that would be designing the category just for one person, which isn't very fair. Tetronian you're clueless 16:29, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
I can see this as a running category. Philip is an extreme case because he went off and founded his own wiki, but I'm also thinking of the inner-circle sysops from 2008 who found that a line was crossed on one or more key issues and decided to leave CP after Andy refused to support them, or his highly-regarded female student who objected to Andy's different "boys & girls" standards before re-succumbing to his authority in the end. --SpinyNorman 16:49, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm talking about the users from this site who spend their time vandalizing CP. This is the most puerile activity to take place at CP, and thus deserving of this award (and not some other award given by CP itself). --The real MarkGall (18.251.5.130 23:28, 26 October 2009 (UTC))
ECx2!!!!) Differ. I honestly don't think that RW supplies many vandals to CP. True there are people who vandalise in a puerile manner & then come here to brag about it, but they don't get much acclaim. Parodists like Bugler are a whole different kettle of a different coloured horse: not puerile at all. I am eating Toast& honeychat 23:30, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Second RobSmith nomination (commies everywhere, oh no!) - Refugeetalk page 19:39, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
UPDATE: Conservative commentator and FOX News pundit Charles Krauthammer, who was widely criticized after writing in the National Review, "In today’s America, to be a Communist is a pose, not a conviction. After the Soviet collapse, Marxism is a relic, a pathetic anachronism reduced to its last redoubts: North Korea, Cuba, and the English departments of the more expensive American universities,"[2] has now seen the light. Krauthammer now writes, "White House communications director Anita Dunn... [has] been attacked for extolling Mao’s political philosophy in a speech at a high-school graduation.... Mao, the greatest...creator of a slave society of a near-billion worker bees wearing Mao suits and waving the Little Red Book..." [3] Hmmm, where's Krauthammer getting his talking points from? Ok, that was funny. :-D RobS, I'm sorry if these comments hurt your feelings, but honestly, you really do seem to be obsessed with communism to the point where it seems a bit overboard. It's a rare gift when you can get honest feedback on yourself from people.. why not listen to these viewpoints and think about your approach, if you really are convinced of this and are looking to convince others, it might be more effective to relate it another way. But then again, what do I know (not much!) lol. Refugeetalk page 01:53, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Yah, bbbbut...ok thanks. But it's not really monomaniacal, communism is an umbrella issue. Gay rights, environmentalism, abortion, school prayer (or lack there of) are all commie plots. Don't you see? RobS 01:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Actually, Rob, no, we don't. Hence the reason you deserve some sort of award. ħumanUser talk:Human 02:41, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

What, Rob? I mean seriously, WHAT?! Bahahahahahahaha! ITS ALL A PLOT!!!! BAHAHAHAHAHA AceMcWicked 02:04, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Ahhh, memories. We harken back to the early days of edit warring with the vandal site over cp:NAMBLA and cp:Harry Hay. Harry Hay, the Thomas Jefferson of the Gay Rights movement, was a CPUSA member who circulated the Stockholm Peace petition against the Korean War. Just what the hell does advocating for gay rights have to do with pushing the Moscow foreign policy line? And NAMBLA (doesn't need introduction or qualifying) was in the forefront of the anti-Iraq War movement in 2003. So America under Obama and the Democrats has now adopted NAMBLA's agenda. RobS 02:34, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
"And NAMBLA (doesn't need introduction or qualifying) was in the forefront of the anti-Iraq War movement in 2003." WTF, Rob? Do you have a chemical imbalance or something? By 2003, all that was left of NAMBLA was a half-dozen guys writing newsletters in their basements. What a load of tripe. More and more evidence that if you're not a parodist you probably should be committed for your own safety. --Kels 02:44, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
"WTF, Rob? Do you have a chemical imbalance or something?" The answer to that, my dear, is ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY. DickTurpis 00:19, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Need link? Go ahead, click on it if you got the cahoonies. Whatsamatter? Afraid of an FBI rectal exam? No problem. Eric Holder's in charge of that. RobS 02:54, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
It is not that we don't believe that NAMBLA opposed the Iraq War. It is that they were not a significant force in the anti-war movement and also you are using an association fallacy in linking Obama to to NAMBLA. - π 02:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Not necessarily; in reviewing this material we see Harry Hay (whose vast archives are carried in extensio on the NAMBLA website) credited with "years of service to the party and work as a teacher at the cp:California Labor School." At the California Labor School what links here we have a link to cp:Frank Marshall Davis, Obama's commie mentor (we can link cp:Harry Bridges to the California Labor School, too). Incidentally, the California Labor School I think was located at the corner of Haight & Ashbury Streets in San Fransisco, ground zero of the 60s counterculture movement -- perhaps another commie plot. RobS 03:20, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Wow. It only took a few minutes to reveal that your entire post was a collection of smears and guilt-by-association, with nary a shred of truth to it. Were you dropped on your head as a child, Rob? How many times? --Kels 03:44, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

He's campaigning for the Monomania, Idiot, Paranoia and Liar awards. --Kels 04:34, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
BTW, look what mainstream conservative America is saying at Townhall.com. Compare the way she organizes her material and use of sources with cp:Obamunism and Barack Hussein Obama articles. P.S. If it's not a COI, I'd like to nominate this photo for the award. [5] RobS 19:33, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

He's a wise man in the company of fools. Either way, I don't think he should be given a 'bad' award, but maybe just recognised as 'the best' of a 'bad bunch'? MarcusCicero 14:21, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Nope, he's as bad as the rest of them. Possibly worse. he copy/pastes his work from CD, he's as happy to block as the rest of them, he backs down when idiots like Rob and Andy trash history - his specialty and he ignores and allows Andy to teach the garbage he calls history to children. Some professor he is. Anyway, "best of a bad bunch" award belongs to darlin' Jess... but I'm biased that way. --PsygremlinSermā! 14:30, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
If I were an American Conservative (Any website owner really) and a group of little internet shites devoted their internet life to attacking my website, I'd be a happy blocker as well. Jensen copies/pastes articles he wrote for CZ. As far as I can tell. Either way you're talking rubbish. MarcusCicero 15:44, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
And for a minute there I thought you were actually being reasonable. I know you'd be a happy blocker, yo'd fit right in over there. I also know that Jensen's response to being accused of plagiarism was to block the accuser (the accusation was made via mail - not on CP). Now address his ignorance on the history issue and still say I'm talking rubbish and copy/pasting stuff you wrote elsewhere is hardly enlightening, especially when it's been shown he also copies across other people's additions to his work. Hell, MC, just think of this as TV - if you don't like what you read here, change chanels, if you don't want your darlin' prof to get an award, don't vote for him. There's really no need for yet another of your little hissy fits. --PsygremlinPrata! 15:54, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Eh... What? What nonsense. Can you proove he is guilty of plagiarism? I don't see it myself. I've actually read one of his books and have nothing but the highest degree of respect for the man - he isn't irrational or guilt by association types like the RW self righteous brigade. Yap all you want, just don't be dishonest. MarcusCicero 17:21, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
ahhh MC, what a miserable prick you are. Warms my heart. AceMcWicked 01:24, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I will say that the one thing I thought he might be guilty of plagiarism on was wrong, and it actually was his work. Turns out the way Citizendium attributes contributions isn't exactly straightforward and made it look like someone else's work. So I own up to that, but I dunno if there's something else people are talking about WRT plagiarism. --Kels 01:41, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
There was a bit of a fight about this at cp:Talk:Potato and somewhere else too, a couple months ago... Dr. Jensen copied a bit from CZ, almost entirely written by him but with a couple sentences added by others. Someone pointed it out and it was fixed after some bickering about licensing. --Pyfgcr 01:48, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

I've talked to several people who agree with me that the Ramses pun is great. The problem is that Pi is running this show and determined that the threshold for viability for any voting field is 4 candidates, so you're sort of flopping about on this one unless you can come up with some more people engaged in what I would agree is a persistent strategy at CP. Another problem is that the universe of candidates is so small and their deeds so well known that the categories more or less define themselves and this one hasn't yet gelled. Perhaps next year. I think it's great though. Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svg 04:14, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Repectfully disagree - I think misogyny should be an award unto itself. It should be looked down on as much as men wearing dresses." and: http://conservapedia.com/index.php?title=Debate%3AWomen_in_the_Military%3F&diff=56181&oldid=53199 quote: "goes against God-given nature" - Women should not be in combat or combat support, where there at risk of being captured or killed by the enemy. I am also nominating ASchlafly for the "test questions should be different for girls than boys" debacle. Refugeetalk page 23:56, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

(How about Phyllis on a visiting professorship?) Just thinking about it, every woman who's made any meaningful contribution has left or been driven out so the whole site could be described as misogynistic; but Andy for his "rules of chivalry" & exam questions. Ed's just a dirty old man. I am eating Toast& honeychat 00:06, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
EC) Further: It might just be that females have too much sense than to maintain any involvement with such a whacko site (- or aSK come to think of it) I am eating Toast& honeychat 00:12, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
If we had misogyny we should drop one or two other. We have 13 now and remember there really is only about 25 people that could be nominated for all these awards. - π 00:10, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't think the number of awards matters, what matters is the fun in awarding them and the fun in making the plaques and posting them on CP using their images. Just MHO, of course. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:59, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
And reposting them over and over again. - π 02:07, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

The Phyllis Schlafly Rape Your Wife Award? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, if you think there are too many categories and it doesn't warrant it's own award, no problem, include it in Bigotry. I don't think we need to keep it if it means getting rid of another category. I guess it's more of a pet peeve of mine anyway - I stay pissed off daily at the endless entries derogatory to women at CP. lol. Refugeetalk page 01:00, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Might as well have it. I actual enjoy making the plaques. Although if we cut one it should be heavy-handedness. Last year TK won it after he had been absent for the year. - π 01:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I have a feeling TK could win that award if he'd been absent for a decade. lol. Maybe we can combine a few to make less categories? (such as misogyny included under Bigotry) So far all the suggestions look pretty good. Refugeetalk page 01:27, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Nominations - Misogyny[edit]

Ed Poor - Just a disgusting weird woman hating pervert. - π 01:54, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

I disagree: Ed's a dirty old pervert who'd like to get his paws on any female: the younger the better IMHO. Andy's much more organised as a misogynist. I am eating Toast& honeychat 01:59, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
There is a certain misogyny in the that. Younger women = less assertive = greater control. - π 02:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I agree with Toast - Ed's just a dirty old man, like me, except he make the mistake of expressing it on the internet (by the way, I also love women my own age and older). Andy is truly at least a sexist, a chauvinist pig. ħumanUser talk:Human 02:05, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Aschlafly - Seeing as he get nominations. - π 02:08, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

I second Broccolli's suggestion above, how about a "well-intentioned but misinformed" award? nominations could be HSMom, PJR and possibly Joaquin Martinez. or would PJR still qualify as an ex-CPer? Refugeetalk page 20:35, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

I would say Roger's reply on the Relativity talk page where he called Andy's source "a kook," except that poor Roger didn't get away with it. Tetronian you're clueless 16:45, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

How many?[edit]

Last year we had ten awards and I can tell you that was a lot of work. With the multipoll feature voting will be easier, however awards still need to be made, pictures found ect. How many should we go with this year? Please keep in mind that we are nominating from a pool of only about 25 people. - π 23:00, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

We currently have

  • Arrogance
  • Bigotry
  • Delusions of Grandeur
  • Heavy-handed
  • Idiocy
  • Inaesthetic
  • Liability
  • Liar
  • Misplaced erudition
  • Monomania
  • Paranoia
  • Power crazed
  • Puerility

With Suggestions of:

  • Denalism
  • Misogyny
  • Unbalanced

Should we cull a few? - π 00:16, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Nah, let's make sure all the "regulars" get at least one. They're free, right? ħumanUser talk:Human 03:25, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
What kind of namby pamby political correctness is that, they only get an award in they earn it. Competition brings out the best in people. - π 03:29, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I say, to everyone an award according to their ability, and to everyone their due, according to their award. (I know that's not really "English"). ħumanUser talk:Human 04:28, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I agree with Π. I'd like to see fewer awards which endows them with greater meaning, otherwise it's like a teacher giving all of her pupils gold stars. Much better to have six or so "punchy" awards than some long-winded list designed to ensure everyone gets one. We've already got overlap between things like "Arrogance" and "Delusions of Grandeur" as well as some others that I can't be bothered to mention. Let's cut it down and have some proper standards for goat's sake. Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 18:14, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I would like more than 2 nominations per category, which is the problem with people constantly inventing new awards is they usually only apply to two people. - π 02:07, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Dude, you're in charge. When it comes to setting up votes on the project/debate page, it's up to you. You have our opinions, but you are doing all the work. It's your show, please run it how you want. You're making a lot of fun for all of us, I'm sure no one minds if you manage it as you see fit. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:15, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I would rather not be "in charge", thanks. I just wish getting a consensus wasn't like extracting teeth. It's not that people aren't interested, it is just hard to sustain that interest for any period of time. We have the only wiki thats entire membership has the online equivalent of ADD. Works in its own strange way. - π 03:45, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, you are running this, really. "Consensus" is what you decide it is, when you decide it is (what awards, who is nominated), since I expect you will be stuck with setting up and announcing the voting in a week or two. And, yes, the wiki operates like a salamander on crack. Just stay on top of things, and do the best you can. If you want help, just ask, but it will only be "help", not management. You be the manager ;) ħumanUser talk:Human 03:52, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Parthian shot[edit]

I would like to see a new category for best Parthian shot. I guess that Philip would be a shoe in for this year though.--BobNot Jim 13:44, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Shoe in? Is that on Teflpedia? Snark aside, Parthian Shot writers have their talk pages burned and possibly locked. So we could only award them from here. Redchuck.gif ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 13:50, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh noes. My embarrassment know no bounds. But even if it's only an award here I think it might be a good idea.--BobNot Jim 17:35, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
There were some great parting shots - PJR of course, Jazzman, TimS, Fox, Hojimachong, and what was that guys name that started with an "A" - Azi-xxx?, he used to post here too, and DanH if I recall correctly, Kotomi on Ask a bunch of others now long deleted and memory-burned, and even TK's own last shot upon being desysop'd way back when. Refugeetalk page 20:16, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
and SpineyNorman too. Refugeetalk page 20:17, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Aziraphale? I never saw him leave, but I liked following his comments when I first found CP. Seemed like he'd have been banned eventually. (Yet now that I check, all his subpages were overlooked.) ~ Kupochama[1][2] 03:55, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't really like Parthian shot as 80%+ of the time it is one of us trying to make a point. I sort of seems hollow rewarding ourselves for saying a few clever words to Andy and running away. - π 03:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Anakin Skywalker Award[edit]

I just had an idea for an award for the editor who contains a faint glint of hope buried deep within their fundie interior. Addison comes to mind for this. He has at times displayed something approaching rational thought, and is young enough that there is still hope he may turn into a functioning human being once he is away from the clutches of Andy. Then again I'm sort of against the idea of making awards geared towards specific people. DickTurpis 14:58, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

That would be an interesting category, but there isn't too large of a field. The only people I can think of are Addison and perhaps PJR. Tetronian you're clueless 15:02, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
No, purely on the grounds it mentions Star Wars. - π 15:03, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Fuck you Pi. I want there to be a Theemperor Award. Oh, and stylistically, it should be called the Darth Vader award, as an Anakin Skywalker award would be given to a user here who has a tiny bit of religious fundamentalism buried deep within their black hole of a soul. The Emperor Kneel before Zod!
I say rename it to the PJR Glimmer of Hope Award, for showing that despite all the loonies, there's one there that still shows some sort of sanity. Kwsn (Ni!) 18:56, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Even if we don't make this a category, it would be interesting to debate whether PJR has a glimmer of hope or not. He did see through Andy's bullshit and TK's power games, but the ASK WIGOs prove that he still is a pretty messed up dude. Tetronian you're clueless 18:59, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

More important than the name of the award is whether we should have one for this category at all. I wouldn't think PJR would be a candidate, as he's quit CP, and it's far too late for him anyway (he is not about to change), whereas Addison or Bethany at least have the potential to be normal right-leaning people, rather than forever minions of Andy. That would seem to make it a 2 way race, but that seems pretty typical here. DickTurpis 14:17, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Aboriginal Noise What the ... 01:35, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Shouldn't be that hard, the trick is not to think "image of steaming turd" but to think of "insane public figure". They'll have those images. Lifetime achievement awards[edit]

This needs to be discussed more in depth than a passing comment under some of the other awards. This is a really good idea, so we won't just award the same people the same award over and over again each year. Here are some ideas

Delusions of Grandeur: Andy

Liar: TK

Idiot: Ed Poor

Paranoia: RobS

Power-crazed: TK

Any others I'm forgetting? --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 03:19, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Ed has won biggest idiot twice already. I don't think we need to pension everyone off yet. - π 03:22, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Also paranoia is a new award, liar was won last year by TerryH and Power-crazed was won Bugler - so those aren't the constant winners. - π 03:34, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
I think it's more like "retiring an athlete's number" - when someone so pwns an award one year - or more - the award gets named after them, and they get the lifetime award. Ed and Idiot is foregone. So, hence, the "Ed Poor Biggest Idiot on Conservapedia Award". ħumanUser talk:Human 04:41, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Richard Lenski Prize for Pwning Andy[edit]

The Tower of Babel Special Award for Supreme Hubris[edit]

Shamelessly expanding on my "Delusions of Grandeur" name suggestion and taking into account the discussion above about fewer awards, I propose combining Arrogance and Delusions of Grandeur into a single award this year. The obvious recipient is Andrew Schlafly. As noted above, the name suggests possibility of divine retribution for sacrilege, and "hubris" is a perfect description of Andy in creating the Conservative Bible Project (and Andy in general). Three days to go[edit]

With only three days until voting is suppose to start I have created polls for the categories that had 4 or more nominees, as I took that to mean that people had an interest in voting for those categories. Please keep nominating the more polls and people the more fun we can have. Please don't open the polls.
