[edit] Woo-woo

Unfortunately, it attracts a lot of woo from people like Bruce Lipton.[1] It has become a buzzword for pseudoscientific claims similar to quantum woo.[2][3][1] Commonly, it is misinterpreted as allowing to pass on acquired traits to offspring. There may be a political motivation for this, since some folks find genetic inheritance socially undesirable.

[edit] New Yorker story

In 2016, The New Yorker published a story on epigenitics blurring the line between genetic and environmental explanations for behaviour.[4] It was widely criticised by scientists.[5]
