I would challenge the public domain licence on this as it is a trademark and as such we are impacting the commercial operation of Facebook(TM). - π 03:20, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Pi brings up a good point. Also, why do we need this image in the first place? I'm not suggesting we should delete it, just asking. Tetronian you're clueless 03:22, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
If it for the facebook article than a fairuse form should be filled in. - π 03:24, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
I'm going to use it for a userbox, Tet.
It is not fair use, it's a Wikimedia image created from an "f" and a box. See here.--Tom Moorefiat justitia 03:29, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
That is not the point though. The Coca-Cola(TM) logo is just a white on red PD font, the Google(TM) logo is just a PD font, they are however product brandings and do have protection under the law. If you were to start using the coloured Cutnell font for a website Google would sue you for branding infringements. - π 03:36, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
That makes sense. Made fair use, accordingly. Thanks!--Tom Moorefiat justitia 04:10, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
