Forever 21

Forever 21 is a a American fashion company that sells women's clothing, most of which is made in the U.S. The company is noteworthy because its trademark yellow bags are inscribed with the biblical reference John 3:16 ("For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.").

Forever 21's clothing does not reflect the kind of modesty that might come to mind when thinking of a company that uses biblical verse as a marketing tool; one of their products is a pair of panties adorned with the phrase "Y is for Yummy."[1]

While the Bible teaches us to treat our fellow human beings with compassion, in 2004 Forever 21 workers called for a boycott of the store because they were owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in back wages.[2]
