BST[edit]

BST ends on the last Sunday of October; The UK (and the rest of Europe for that matter) is now on Winter Time (GMT for UK; CET for most of the rest of western Europe). CS Miller (talk) 22:59, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Ok, so it is what, -4 now? TyrannisAn Iron, but caring, fist 23:00, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
UK is on GMT aka UTC. I don't know what time NY is on. CS Miller (talk) 23:26, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
EST. It would be 7:27 there now.TyrannisAn Iron, but caring, fist 23:27, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
I fscked our timezone up too? I'm very, very sorry. We in the UK are on GMT BUT I was right that we're still four hours ahead of EST. So it's 23:30 GMT right now, but 19:30 EST. I'm pretty sure... –SuspectedReplicant retire me 23:30, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
I'll go adjust the times. TyrannisAn Iron, but caring, fist 23:32, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
We are still on Daylight Savings... your 23:32 edit shows to me as 7:32 (19:32). So, yeah now it's four hours. What was it all summer? 5? ħumanUser talk:Human 23:36, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Highlights of my morning browsing CNN[edit]

A couple rare bits of honesty from politicians:

(heavily paraphrased)
CNN Reporter: Well the 2010 elections are behind us now and everyone's talking about 2012. We have former White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card with us for his take...
Card: I don't think anyone's talking about 2012 right now.
CNN Reporter: Shut up and go along with it.

Later, in an interview, the presumptive House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said quite frankly that when the Republicans take control of the House no one will be getting a tax cut. I wonder if the Taxed Enough Already Party will say about that. DickTurpis (talk) 14:54, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Who knows? They will probably support it, if FOX does. TyrannisAn Iron, but caring, fist 15:43, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
It disappeared so quickly I couldn't see it, but I saw a claim yesterday that the Fox News web site listing of Tea Party candidates actually included an encouragement to go out and vote for them. (By the time I checked it, it was gone.) How's that for 'fair and balanced'? MDB (talk) 15:50, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
