Fun:Goats for poetry affair

From RationalWiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Since I feel the need to get right with Heidrun before I die and go to Niflheim I, Jeeves, will buy one goat for every poem about goats submitted below and donate whatever crap I get from oxfam in return to my donation to the authors of the best poems. Probably in scanned form, but if you want it by post I can do that too. Terms and conditions apply. A maximum of eight goats will be purchased, because I'm a tight bastard. Epic lays praising goats in the poetic styles Fornyrthislag, Ljothahattr or Malahattr will be most smiled upon. You have one month. Begin!

Poems[edit]

Human[edit]

There once was a man with two goats
Which he took on his very big boat
For months they did sail
While his sons tried to bail
To keep all living things afloat

Bob[edit]

A Sudanese goat called rose,
Was caught in an indelicate pose.
So they asked her to wed,
The man found in her bed,
And her wild oats she no longer sows.
