The New Zealand America Friendship Society is the fictional organization consisting of 723 members (781 if you count schizophrenics with dual personality disorder) which meets regularly on sordid Pacific Islands to discuss issues of burning concern. It grew from 27 members in 1981 but shrunk to 13 members in 1980 following a reported case of someone switching on the goddamn time machine (a Master lock has been added to the switch to prevent such occurrences.)

[edit] History

It was founded in 1973 after a particularly hair-raising incident involving hurled dishes happened outside a cafe in Auckland between an American and a New Zealander, although critics suggest that since the incident happened on a televised game show that it didn't count as a true incident. Several dishes from China were hurled, reportedly; a spokesperson for the government of China would not respond to repeated requests for further information. Since then, persons on both sides of the Pacific including Canada (a suburb of the United States) and Mexico (a second cousin twice removed by marriage) have sought ways to avoid needless conflict through intelligent and rational discussions. There were reports that some of the followers of the persons involved went on to found the engaging and witty website RationalWiki.

[edit] Activity

At present, the group limits itself to mundane activities such as teaching farmers proper respect for sheep when inseminating them. Reports that members have vandalized hate comments by known and identified rascals such as this guy have been greatly exaggerated, although there were intimations that this "person" has vandalized his own user page. The group has a staunch policy of not admitting retards, junkies, criminals, low-lifes, Woody Allen look-alikes, and persons pretending to be Elvis Presley.

Kiwi locksmith John Key is reportedly a member but uses an alias to convince people he's really an electrician.
American fashion model Michelle Obama has reportedly had ties with the organization through a secretive double agent from Uruguay and is reportedly a human. "I'd like to strengthen ties between our two countries" she said in an interview with passing wildfowl.
There are no confirmed reports of significant jealousy with the acclaimed Uganda Australia Friendship Society.
