Fun:Zointed
Zointed, or more precisely double-zointed, is a word coined by Philip J. Rayment on his wiki, A Storehouse of Knowledge.[1] It is a mutation of the word (double-)jointed. Aside from this, it as yet has no formal meaning. Phil is under the delusion that this somehow disproves evolution.
[edit] Proposed definition(s)
A zoint is a specific argument put forward by creationists.
- Example usage: That's just the same old Great Flood zoint you use over and over.
Zointed is the state one's brain is in after repeated and prolonged exposure to "creation science".[2]
- Example usage: It's no good trying to explain anything to Philip J. Rayment, he's totally zointed.
Double-zointed is a condition found in the brains of people who understand how science works. It is caused by said brains struggling to follow the semantic gymnastics of creationists.
- Example usage: "I got so double-zointed discussing evolution with that creationist, I had to fill my mouth with jelly babies."[3]
It could be related to the internet meme term "ZOMG" in some abstract sense, or reference casual drug use, as everthing in Urban Dictionary seems to do.
