Haruhi Suzumiya[edit]

I was considering writing the fun article about her, but I think having somebody modeled after a somewhat whacky jesus allegory rather than a teenage schoolgirl serves the "fun" better. Zero (talk) 17:57, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

@Zero is that the character from the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya? Also is your name Zero based off of Code Geass? Commie Lib (talk) 21:23, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
1. Yes. 2. No. Zero (talk - contributions) 14:16, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

Omnissiah[edit]

AFAIK it is not consensus (nor canon) that the God-Emperor of Mankind is also the Omnissiah. For example, there are various rumours that the Void Dragon may be it as well.

And no, I am not trying to pull a Lexicanum on this page. :PNullahnung (talk) 16:24, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Techpriests and Techmarines seem to be divided on the issue from my readings of literature and games. The understanding of the concept I have is "The Omnissiah is slang for The Machine God with The Emperor as his incarnate. Therefore the words can be used interchangeably." Fair enough. Nullahnung (talk) 17:10, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Golden Throne[edit]

I thought it was the control for the Astronomican but then had to build in a life-support machine by Rogal. The way it is written seems to be just calling it a life support machine. Maybe I missed something here? Zero (talk) 17:18, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

No, you're completely right, it is more than just life support, its main role being breaking into the Eldar Webway (and also connecting to the Astronomican) and later being built into being a life support machine as well.Nullahnung (talk) 17:26, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Age[edit]

So, I wasn't aware the emperor was born around 8,000 B.C. I'm sure I'm going to seem like an ignorant fool, but could I have some clarification, pretty please? Rand0 (talk) 09:29, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Scratch that. I've checked out the lexicanum article. Holy crap, this game is even darker and freakier than I remember it being. Also, I'm just now realizing it's a fantasy kitchen sink. I still had a lot of fun building all those figurines though. Rand0 (talk) 09:39, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

Too real[edit]

The more I see the fundies' stupidity, the more I picture Christ in Gold Emperor fashion, tied to a Jack Chick-style throne and unable to do anything about the BS or worse spewed in His name. --93.191.139.7 (talk) 15:43, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

The Emperor: Atheist or Antitheist[edit]

The Emperor is commonly described as an atheist, but I think this is a misconception. An atheist simply does not believe in god(s), saying there is just not enough evidence to believe. However, the Emperor KNOWS that the Chaos Gods, the C'Tan, and the Aeldari pantheon exist, and indeed his knowledge of their existence is why he created the Imperial Truth. He's almost the textbook definition of an antitheist, it's just that many people see no distinction between the two concepts. RoninMacbeth (talk) 15:35, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Fun God[edit]

Could there be a funspace article on 'The Fun God'? Anna Livia (talk) 16:02, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

You mean Satan? 𝔊𝔬𝔞𝔱-𝔈𝔪𝔭𝔢𝔯𝔬𝔯 𝔅𝔦𝔤𝔰 (𝔴𝔬𝔯𝔡𝔰 𝔬𝔣 𝔴𝔦𝔰𝔡𝔬𝔪/𝔞𝔠𝔥𝔦𝔢𝔳𝔢𝔪𝔢𝔫𝔱𝔰) 17:39, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
Freya is pretty fun, too. RoninMacbeth (talk) 17:42, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Remember[edit]

Most Deity Hospitals have a ward reserved for Deities who have attempted to create objects they cannot lift: and there is an entire branch of Deity-psychiatry devoted to Gods who have got into a mental tangle on the subject/developed a phobia about the matter. ホットテイク[edit]

This article should either entirely or primarily on the TRUE God, who is of course, God Emperor Leto II Atreides, son of Muad’Dib and half Shai-Hulud. Firstly bc Dune is just better than WH40K but also? Their “god emperor” is basically just a kinda less interesting version of Leto II. 203.111.4.57 (talk) 04:11, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
