Isn't that (michiglanders) a disease of horses? RojerB-KtF! 22:44, 18 July 2007 (CDT)

Hmmm, I think that's "foot in mouth disease", a native of W DC. Or maybe they are prostoglandins, little chemical globs I don't understand? Michiganders are ducks that eat tires. humanbe in 22:56, 18 July 2007 (CDT)
Sorry, I misread, michiganders are obviously sushi bars for male ducks. RojerB-KtF! 23:20, 18 July 2007 (CDT)
Oh, JEEEZUS! The thumb is NOT the UP!!!!--PalMD-Goatspeed! 06:32, 19 July 2007 (CDT)
No, that's the "spare thumb". Or, alternatively, the Panda's Thumb! Although, it does look more like spaghetti being thrown out of the glove, now that I refresh my memory... humanbe in 12:21, 19 July 2007 (CDT)
BTW, the rabbits keep eating my garden, and they do look rather tasty.162.82.215.199 14:26, 19 July 2007 (CDT)

Mean spirited...[edit]

As someone who currently lives in Michigan, and just moved back to the "mit" from the "extra thumb" I have to say that no, the article is not mean spirited. I'll likely have to leave in the next year in a miserable attempt to get a job... It's so bizarre to see, for a full week now, how great it is that we're only ranked 2nd in unemployment!! It's amazing!!! And as a resident of Flint, being born in the same hospital as Michael Moore, I can say that since "Roger and Me" it has gotten much, much worse... But we (Flint) do have the largest brown field in the nation! Take that Nevada!!! Quaru (talk) 12:14, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

I live in Michigan, and this is way more informative that the actual article. Greatnecro (talk) 22:20, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

Michigan State University[edit]

I do know of a really stupid degree program MSU offers- a Bachelors of Science to Ph.D in Packaging, this is not a joke. I first heard about it in High School because an MSU rep spoke at an assembly one day and the rep mentioned it. I looked it up on their site and sadly it is an actual degree program.--Rationalzombie94 (talk) 17:37, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Redirect.[edit]

I'm redirecting the actual page for michigan to this page. Anyone that has a problem with this, feel free to roll it back. However, I would like to point out that this article is way more informative and has much more content than the stubbiest of stubs. Necromancer 14:05, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
