Don't tell me no one knows when the Scopes Trial was held... I can't look it up now, class to run to. Wazza (Yes, that Wazza)Bring a little light into my dim and dull existence 17:54, 13 May 2008 (EDT)

This subject is on mission, but the article isn't. Unless somebody who knows the subject rewrites it, I think it should be moved to fun. WèàšèìòìďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 21:24, 19 February 2009 (EST)
how is it not "on mission", it both makes fun of Andy, and talks about the Scopes Trial. Could you be more specific of what you have a problem?..--Sun mowse.pngEn attendant Godot"«Poetry involves the mysteries of the irrational perceived through rational words. It's about a trial in 1925, & says Andrew Schlafly was involved in it. If the reader knows who Andrew Schlafly is, they know straight away that what they're reading in this article is nonsense. If they don't, it may cause them some confusion. Either way, to actually find out anything useful about the Scopes trial, they have to go offsite to Wikipedia or anywhere else that has some actual information. This article isn't informative or factual, just silly, which is why (at least in its current state) it belongs in fun rather than mainspace. WTF???[edit]

I hate to say this, but teh Assfly's article on this was actually more accurate than ours. Don't get me wrong, Inherit the Wind is actually one of my favorite movies, but it's definitely not the way events went down exactly. The link to the PBS doc I posted is worth watching. Ermmmmm...this is the Fun: version, you know? Totnesmartin (talk) 10:26, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
