Left communism is a variant of Marxism which tends to distinguish itself by rejecting Leninism, insisting that the revolution should occur in the entire world all at once, for advocating going directly and immediately to communism without passing through the stages of fully-developed capitalism and socialism first, and for their thick-headed sectarianism. Also known by critics within the Marxist tradition as "impossibilists", Lenin considered them enough of a problem that he wrote a whole book on the subject: "Left-Wing" Communism, An Infantile Disorder.

[edit] Partial examples
- De Leonism - not completely left communist, because they do not insist on everywhere-at-once global revolution, and the De Leonist program is really closer to syndicalism and council communism
[edit] Possible example
Every other "left communist" will vehemently disagree about their inclusion here, but let's face it, this is what happened when someone tried going immediately after the revolution to a moneyless, classless society:
- Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge
