December 2010[edit]

10

Julie Lucas starts well with her "Jesus was Jew!" statement, but it soon unravels after that.

18

To summarize Buchanan's point, in terms of intelligence Asian > Northern European White > Southern European White > the Darkies.

14

VenomFangX has returned to Youtube.

10

The UK National Secular Society says that school assemblies with "broadly Christian" collective worship are wrong, and violate the human rights act. The Daily Mail response; Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

11

Obama is going to give Manhattan back to the Native Americans! Um... no.

16

National Guard officer builds his own cross in order to be the first martyr for the DADT repeal.

29

The Top 10 most anti-Christian acts of 2010 - "Come and see the violence inherent in the system. Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"

21

According to UK Muslim extremist group Islam4UK, Christmas causes such "evils" as STDs, abortion, pedophilia, domestic violence, and (gasp) raves and night clubs! Oh noes! (Especially ironic are the domestic violence and pedophilia assertions, seeing as Sharia Law allows Muslim men to beat their wives and give away their daughters in "marriage" as young as 6 years old.)

15

Yawn. If you're a leftie, you're probably a loonie.

19

In an effort to out-crazy CP, RedState hosts a man who claims that Christ was killed by the liberal courts. And he's in their 2012 straw poll!

14

With the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell", let the straw-grasping and obstructionism begin.

21

"Don't Ask Don't Tell" is repealed, and the conservatives at Free Republic are... just a little upset.

9

A lunar eclipse will occur over North and Central America from about 1340 UTC on Monday to about 1453 UTC on Tuesday. The winter solstice will occur at 2338 UTC on Tuesday. Naturally, certain people are planning special observances of the first "simultaneous" occurrence of these two events in 456 years.

16

Hilarious and disingenuous interpretation of research: Principle of astrology proven to be scientific: planetary position imprints biological clocks of mammals, but "Don't confuse tabloid astrology with real astrology".

23

The end of the world is nigh (ish).

-12

"The Ten Most Overrated Things of the Decade": Usually a HuffPo slideshow that includes Mariah Carey and Michael Phelps wouldn't warrant inclusion on the WIGO if not for what they listed at #1.

15

Giving the Nobel to Liu Xiaobo is a vast western conspiracy against China

23

Jesus was a teabagger.

8

The 13 December 2010 issue of The New Yorker includes an article that claims that the efficacy of the scientific method may have hit a sort of tipping point. Why? Because (1) too many researchers are unable to replicate their findings, and/or (2) some researchers are unable to anticipate all outcomes and/or side effects which only come to light after a product hits the market. Therefore, it's the method that's at fault, not the researchers. (NOTE: Only subscribers can read the full article online, but they do provide this abstract.)

7

While opining on an admittedly bizarre (and probably fake) story, Chrissy Satterfield, World Nut Daily's youngest whackjob, reveals that she wants "screening before you're allowed to get pregnant".

12

The government will stop global warming with... TSA pat-downs!

29

Gay Groups should pay for HIV research, because AIDS is all their fault.

20

That TSA Agent giving you a pat-down search may be a homosexual looking for a cheap thrill!
