[edit] Ingredients

  • 1 oz goat jerky
  • 16 fluid ounces water (bottled unless your local tap water is especially good)
  • up to 8 ounces milk (optional)
  • up to 4 tbs sugar (optional)
  • up to 4 ounces honey (optional)

[edit] Hardware

  • Equipment to boil water; an electric kettle is preferable
  • a straining mesh
  • two mugs which have not been used for coffee

[edit] Directions

  1. Boil the water
  2. put the goat jerky in one mug
  3. pour the boiling water into the mug
  4. let the jerky steep for 90 seconds
  5. pour the goat tea into the other mug, straining the jerky out with the straining mesh
  6. optionally add milk, sugar or honey to taste
  7. enjoy! (optional)
