I've actually tried this recipe multiple times, I just don't know why each time I expect it to turn out differently.--"Shut up, Brx." 22:25, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Try replacing the soy milk with soy sauce. It'll turn out differently. Ŵêâŝêîôîď

- Well, I'm pretty sure that the problem is I'm trying to boil bananas, but maybe next time I'll try that. How much soy sauce?--"Shut up, Brx." 22:37, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, a couple of cups, easy. Theory of Practice "I never set out to hit anybody. It's just that a lot of people got hit." -- Andy Roberts 22:38, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

- I ask because my recipe calls for bathing the banana and the bread in soy milk, and I figured that might actually be too much when it comes to soy sauce.--"Shut up, Brx." 22:41, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Not just the bananas & bread; you should bathe your whole body in soy milk & soy sauce. There's no such thing as too much. ΨΣΔξΣΓΩΙÐ

[edit] Why not just...
Make a banana sandwich with the bread and the banana and then drink the soy milk? It seem like it would be both more pleasant and a lot less work? Theory of Practice "I never set out to hit anybody. It's just that a lot of people got hit." -- Andy Roberts 22:43, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- That's what I usually do, but sometimes I feel creative, sometimes I want a warm meal, and sometimes I put a banana in the freezer or unpeeled it before it was ripe and this is the only way I know not to let it go to waste.--"Shut up, Brx." 22:45, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- I cook those bananas in my oatmeal in the morning. Theory of Practice "I never set out to hit anybody. It's just that a lot of people got hit." -- Andy Roberts 22:49, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- I just make banana bread/muffins. ТyrannisAn iron, but caring, fist 22:50, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- Forget the bread & use eggs. Soften the sliced banana in a little butter, stir in a beaten egg or two, tiny splash of milk, maybe a little sugar, & a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg. Turn the heat right down & just give it a minute or less, so the egg begins to solidify without becoming scrambled eggs. Hey presto, a lazy banana custard dish which is actually quite tasty.
- Or, if you must use bread, make a bread & butter pudding: butter slices of bread, layer them with bananas or whatever you're using in a baking dish, pour a milk & egg mixture over it (again with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg & some sugar) & bake in the oven. ₩€₳$€£ΘĪÐ
