Recipe talk:Trilobites in Aspic

So, where do I get my "unapproved recipe" ID box? (after all, trilobites are more than slightly endangered!) humanbe in 16:26, 11 June 2007 (CDT)

Trilobite cantonese is not tref because of the mitzvah of cultural sensitivity. Maotianshan trilobite would be best, of course, but Burgess is acceptable. I agree aspic is a waste of a good ingredient. Opabinia calls out for such glazing but, of course, can never be kosher. Whoover (talk) 01:06, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

You're doing it wrong[edit]

  • I am deeply offended by this recipe, as I've never heard of anyone putting shellfish in aspic. The proper way to serve trilobite is steamed in beer, with melted butter and a bottle of Tiktaalik garum (it has a little more punchy flavor than Cephalaspis garum, especially if you get the stuff they make at the Lea and Perrins factory in eastern Laurentia with the Anaheim chiles and the extra cumin...). This recipe uses immature soft shell trilobites, and is as such quite appropriate. When the critter is full grown, I agree with your approach. Get the family a half meter specimen and eat all week! Also, feel free to add your recipe! humanbe in 15:35, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Horseshoe crab[edit]

Can you substitute horseshoe crabWikipedia?--"Shut up, Brx." 01:03, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

I heard that when you lay a turnip on concrete, it acquires the coveted ancient arthropod taste.--"Shut up, Brx." 01:29, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
Sure, why not. Anything's possible when you smell like a monster. €₳$£ΘĪÐWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 01:34, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Any good recipes for...[edit]

...an AnomalocarisWikipedia? I have one a tank right now and a dinocaridid-shaped hole in my stomach. I've been feeding it leftover crabs (cheaper than cloning back trilobites). Do the great appendages taste like shrimp? Planaria Icon.png Immortality's fun, except when you become a two-headed monster Talk to me or view my art 01:40, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

No, they only look like shrimp, they taste of anomalocaris. When you're eighteen you can try some of my Hallucigenia if you like. SophieWilder 12:05, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
