Talk:Above Top Secret
[edit] DOE papers (ROFLMAO)
This thread is the ATSers finding the public document repository of the Department of Energy. They think it's leaked secrets. Quote mining and misinterpretations ensue. I can't stop laughing. --ZooGuard (talk) 13:45, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
“”Interesting to see ATSers who normally avoid scientific papers like the plague are flocking to read scientific papers because they're on a DoE website. Hopefully some will learn something :)

ROFL. So true.--ZooGuard (talk) 14:17, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Skeptical posters
Is it just me, or do you have a lot of skeptics on ATS? Even more so than outright nutters - although it depends, I assume some threads self-select because people who believe in [X] are too embarrassed to stick their head above the parapet when it comes to admitting they were wrong: 2012 Olympics finished and NOTHING happened. Anyone surprised?

[edit] Probably going to be zapped on Wikipedia
wp:Above Top Secret has been marked for prospective deletion, and frankly it deserves it. But is there anything from that article we could use? - David Gerard (talk) 15:04, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- Some of the links can be cannibalized (the stats link for example), and I didn't know about the spat with LKJ (although I'm not surprised). Most of the text is not reusable without heavy editing, which means that it would be easier to write our own text on the same issues, if they are considered worth covering.--ZooGuard (talk) 16:49, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
