Most angel names end in the suffix -el, which in Hebrew means "God." Is JeIIyfish an angel? Just cut out "-Iyfish". What's left is "J-el". Now that's an angelic name. Proxima Centauri 10:35, 23 July 2008 (EDT)

The theory is sound, :nods:
Wait a second! You're talking about Littlefish! This changes everything! <blink></blink> <blink></blink> 10:40, 23 July 2008 (EDT)
And a new user Kal-El has just appeared. Another angel? Proxima Centauri 11:16, 23 July 2008 (EDT)
I think that's a character from Superman :) I could sign up as "Tabris" if you want. <blink></blink> <blink></blink> 11:20, 23 July 2008 (EDT)
My old username lol. Not the only fan Neon Genesis Evangelion here. Speaking of NGE, I was thinking we could do a gallery of different "angels". We could put up the monsters from NGE, that guy from Buffy, the bondage angel from Persona etc. There are so many variants.--Thanatos 02:56, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] RW on Wikipedia's helpdesk

About Moses wrestling an angel. You won't find it in the article text, though - it has been fixed by a BoN. RW's lack of a proper Recent changes patrol sometimes has its upsides...--ZooGuard (talk) 09:46, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit] references

This page is a little light on references. I would put some in but I'm feeling lazy. So just saying. --Bob"I think you'll find it's more complicated than that." 13:29, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Oh look, linkspammish comment without any explanations of why anyone should waste their time with this poor clickbait - yaaaaaawn... ScepticWombat (talk) 15:40, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
Please read this. You will find: "When you wish to make an argument then you should present it in your own words. If you simply post a link to another website or blogpost saying the answer can be found there you will probably not be taken seriously. ... Remember - make the point yourself."--Bob"I think you'll find it's more complicated than that." 17:04, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
