The great Schism[edit]

You've not made mention of the Pope/Antipope issue which really ought to have at least a cursory mention. The Great Schism is a little more complex than you've presented and I think you do need to go into some detail about the two Sees in Rome and Constantinople and how the Holy See in Rome came to exist there in the first place. • It was definitely more complex than that - I'm trying to boil it down. Wasn't the Antipope issue much more to do with the Western Schism in the 14th Century that occasionally and confusingly gets called the Great Schism? I'm also not sure the Western Schism and any of the Antipopes went anywhere that would be relevant to modern readers looking for an overview rather than a glossary? (Which I'm also working on) I'll think about adding more on the Holy Sees unless you'd like to :) Neonchameleon (talk) 16:16, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
