Slowly working[edit]

Slowly working through the alt-med stubs, and this guy is here. I'm sure we could build an article on it, but do we want to?--Sun mowse.pngEn attendant Godot 19:28, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

It's woo, why would we not want to? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 19:33, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Wow, I googled. i had no idea it was THIS woo-ie. i thought it was just what we got for having unprotected sex. ok. I'll look into it over the next few days if no one else does, thanks Neb.--Sun mowse.pngEn attendant Godot 19:38, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Oh yeah, this is major-league woo I never got around to writing a full article for. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 02:42, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
The scariest thing about RW to me, is the amount of Woo it alerts me to. i really want to believe people are more skeptical, and more logical than this. but they aren't. sighs.--Sun mowse.pngEn attendant Godot 02:52, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
RW has convinced me that there's no such thing as a woo-free lunch. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 22:53, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

He bought into this: http://motls.blogspot.nl/2012/09/i-probably-suffer-serious-illness.html --83.84.137.22 (talk) 10:10, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Candida is a deadly poisonous mold that invests the human organism and is pathogenic. Neckbeard Atheists believe that they can continue to eat cheetos and “pretend” they understand human biology, parasitology or pathogenesis. Unfortunately, these “woo-shamers” enjoy consuming toxic, chemically-laden and ingredients-disclosed “drugs” and bash methodologies of cleaning the human biochemistry via ancient, efficacy-based modalities. They do not understand heavy metal poisoning, and their metabolism is shit, and they whine and complain about individuals who understand how to eliminate pathogenic, Mold/fungi/microbial/parasitic organisms from their human physiology by using the logic of human biochemistry and natural solutions. What’s “natural” is shamed because misinforming “neckbeards” are triggered and victims of their genetics. The rationality of deleting this post leads credence to the illegimate, whiny, pretentious nature of this site and the moderators who are anti-science, anti-logic, and anti-common sense. Fuck them! Those of us who use intuition don’t need a cult of groupies to be narrowly pessimistic and out blind faith into chemically toxic, non-disclosed ingredient: pharmaceutical drugs. Keep popping those pills and disrupt your natural biochemistry! Get a heart attack but blame the “Wooster”. Ha! You guys are a fucking joke. — Unsigned, by: 24.57.5.156 / talk / contribs 02:27, 30 January 2018 (UTC)

"But I thought this was supposed to be RATIONALWiki!" Drink! Intriguing. Could you provide reputable, scientific sources and medical studies to back up your claims? Do your research before you go on an ad-hominem fueled screed. Oh, and here are some shorter sources which certainly make for interesting reading. (Yes; candida can cause issues such as infections, but certainly not the ones you're describing.) https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/candida-and-fake-illnesses/ https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-candida-diet-separating-fact-from-fiction/ https://www.cdc.gov/fungal/diseases/candidiasis/index.html https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/expert-answers/candida-cleanse/faq-20058174 https://quackwatch.org/related/candida/ MartianCultist (talk) 01:59, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

@MartianCultist Why are you responding to something a BoN wrote more than five years ago? The chances of them seeing your response are extremely slim. As a rule of thumb, don't respond to any posts that are more than a month old. Spud (talk) 02:10, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
