Wait...many Congresspeople do take the oath on a book, if they so desire. The Congressperson in question took the oath on a copy of the Koran owned by Thomas Jefferson. Researcher 10:53, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Too much

Bush funding religious organization was stupid. It was not, however, clerical fascism. The other examples are... passable but remember, Fascism is nationalistic, totalitarian, and reactionary. Most of these guys would create an ultra-authoritarian state but I don't think they'd do away with democracy, and they don't have a single leader to unite behind, which is also needed for Fascism. I feel like it's a little silly to point out Islamofascism is a stupid phrase but then defend the term "Christofascism". ClothCoat (talk) 02:56, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
