[edit] Sorry
I logged in just now and saw the "rollback" option in the diff screen, which I had to click in order to see what it did, being a complete novice in this area. No offence intended. KlapauciusEsteemed Constructor 19:19, 28 January 2009 (EST)
- No need to worry. I've gotten worse. Please add- I need help coming up with a DALEK survival guide. You're a fan of Doctor Who, aren't you? --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistoris Rodney McKay 19:24, 28 January 2009 (EST)
- I'm afraid not: I just saw the revision in RC. I can't suggest much apart from the obvious "avoid stairs" and so forth. I'm more interested in Polish sci-fi, really, as my (somewhat obscure) username suggests. And Terry Pratchett as well, although someone else already has a name based on that. [edit] Ye olde dalecke stuffe
- I am a Dr Who fan, and I couldn't help noticing this seems to go up to Remembrance of the Daleks (1988) - a bit more on the modern stuff perhaps? Yours trulyDear Sir 04:38, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- Yep. If someone could help, that'd be nice. CONVERTINATE! --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistoris Rodney McKay 15:52, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- The funniest thing is that in Remembrance of the Daleks, Daleks could go up stairs. Stupid evil Hoover! 15:56, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- By goat! Another DW fan! We shall conquer the daleks! Look here WE SHALL FIND WEAKNESSES AND EXTERMINATE THE DALEKS! --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistoris Rodney McKay 16:01, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- Oh, god, I share a group with you. I feel so... unclean. Stupid evil Hoover! 16:05, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- I'm from Britain, so I get to see Doctor Who on Saturday nights at 7, as it should be. Stupid evil Hoover! 16:06, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- You're part of the wiki? I'm not. I watch DW on Friday. Darn. --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistoris Rodney McKay 16:09, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- I'm basing my assumption that you're American on the times you come online. Stupid evil Hoover! 16:10, 29 January 2009 (EST)
- Clever, aren't you? Brilliant, as a matter of fact. But what's even more brilliant is that I'm online most at night- meaning it must have taken quite a bit of thought. --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistoris Rodney McKay 16:13, 29 January 2009 (EST)

(unident) But if you looked up Stargate and Sanctuary, you would have seen that they are relatively new, American sci-fi TV shows. You would also have been able to determine that I had a vested interest in Obama being elected by looking at my work. You would also know that I live someplace where there is internet access and American English is spoken. --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistoris Rodney McKay 16:23, 29 January 2009 (EST)
[edit] Ways of dealing with Daleks
1) Ladders (especially of rope) and firemen's poles.
2) Follow the policy of 'utilities repair companies' - which dig up roads in the reverse-coordinated manner.
82.198.250.70 (talk) 18:41, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
3) Mirror mazes.
4) Oil and similar materials on the floor.
5) Roundabouts (children's)

[edit] Dealing with Daleks
The remains of a Dalek have been found in a pond (see websearch for images) - we all recognise what it is - but one can see that if it had been discovered a century from now the series would have been forgotten/images not easily found and the object becomes the subject of bizarre speculation.
How many 'anomalous objects' fall into the same category? 171.33.222.26 (talk) 14:48, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
