Damn it's good when Wikipedia throws out some piece of ridiculously failed crankery and we can scoop it up as an article with stupendous referencing by RW standards - David Gerard (talk) 21:54, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

This page reads like a promotional.[edit]

RationalWiki isn't rational. We know this. RationalWiki even has a hard left political leaning rather than a NPOV angle. But now it appears RationalWiki is cool with channeling space aliens and thinks channeling is a legitimate endeavor. This entire fucking article reads like promotional material of this douche nozzle. The fuck is wrong with you guys? Has your site TRULY sunk this low now? 121.211.33.244 (talk) 16:14, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Eh, wut? Sure, the page is rather trivia heavy, but promotional? Note all the hedging language? Sure, it could (and probably should) be more snarky, but it's hardly a hagiography. ScepticWombat (talk) 16:34, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
If you take this seriously you're on crack - David Gerard (talk) 23:11, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

EEG Study[edit]

Now I'm obviously not saying this constitutes any kind of proof of channeling. Clearly, this can be explained through something like DID, where Bashar is an "alter ego" and therefore appears as a different brain signature. However, given that Darryl Anka / Bashar actually did have some kind of scientific testing, this should at least be discussed in the article for readers to draw a more informed conclusion. Unfortunately, the best source I could find was a Gaia video, but someone could certainly sift through the BS claims and add a sentence or two about it :)
