A lot of things here need citations. I guess work in progress?--ADtalkModerator 06:38, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

its a little sad..[edit]

...that a long and varied career of a popular and recognisable figure who was often vocally supporting and promoting conversation, and fondly remembered by many who grew up with him on the telly is reduced to a couple of paragraphs on his climate change denial. if this is all we have on him, why even bother with an article? This was probably created with the expectation that he was going to get crazier and become an internationally famous nutjob climate change denier. Which ain't gonna happen now, obviously. In his heyday, David Bellamy was a great TV personality and his love of the natural world made a great impact on me as a kid. I suppose the decent thing to do us to expand this article so that, like the one on Patrick Moore, it covers the good as well as the bad. Spud (talk) 16:59, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
ive just searched for johnny ball on here, who similarly lost some esteem with climate change denial. no article, but he does provide the bulk of the dunning kruger article. does rationalwiki hate my childhood? is it not enough that everyone else I grew up watching are all rapists? I went to see the krankies live when I was a child, haven't I suffered enough? can I not have some fond memories? you heartless bastards. AMassiveGay (talk) 19:45, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
