Talk:Friday the thirteenth
Something along the lines of 'go in for polycalender-ity and use a calendar in which it is not the 13th of the month' (on the same convoluted-logic-basis that porpoises were once classified as fish for Friday eating habits). 82.44.143.26 (talk) 14:28, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- Could you be a little more clear? Also, would it be worth mentioning other cultural bad luck days? For example, the Aztecs, at the end (or maybe it was the beginning) of their year, there was a few days that were considered unlucky. In fact, children born on those days were seen as destined to be good-for-nothings. Makes me wonder if their calendar didn't end sometime in March, the month I was born...--"Shut up, Brx." 14:34, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
There are several calendars in general use - including the Julian (Mount Athos, various Russian Orthodox 'and a few other places' - so if 'you' dislike the date in the Gregorian calendar move to another one for the duration. 82.44.143.26 (talk) 14:46, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Whoa!
I didn't even realize today was the thirteenth. Do we have a holydaze template for that, or have we done away with those for the time being?--"Shut up, Brx." 17:44, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
