Looking around, should this be at "fundamnentalist Christianity"? Oops, cool typo. Burlap bags (talk) 09:05, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Never heard that phrase before. Surely you mean "Christian fundamentalism"? -- Nx / talk 09:22, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Millennialism

What is Christian Fundamentalism?? says Christian fundamentalists are likely to be Millennialists. Should that be in the article? Proxima Centauri (talk) 18:20, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

If you do it right, it probably should be. But you need to be clear what millennialism is, how they adapted it, and what they are doing now that TWO millennium have passed. Most Fundimentalists talk now about the "Signs of the End times", and the fulfillment of prophecy, but it's hard to talk 1000 year reigns when 1000s of years have passed, so the language shifts. If you expain all that or say the *were* strong millialists, and then shop how they had to say "oops", it would be a good/important addition. Hell, it might even be worth its own section, since it's provable woo. 1999 millions are screaming about the Coming of Jesus, based on millennial ism, and then they have to have some way to rationalize that it never came. Pink mowse.pngGodotoi, putain, genial, merci 18:30, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit] A question about fundamentalists

In the Gospels there is the parable about the servants who are given coins and two of whom manage to generate more money and get rewarded, with the third doing nothing and getting punished.

What are the fundamentalists actually doing to improve life in general/helping the weak, the lame, the sick and all the other groups? 171.33.197.73 (talk) 16:33, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit] Why I removed what Proxie just added.

Because this blog that she used to back up her arguments has a giant link to a white-pride hate site at the top. Way to go, Proxie. If I knew the way/I would take you home. 13:27, 16 June 2013 (UTC) Apologies. I was looking at the wrong parts of the article. Someone else added that stuff. If I knew the way/I would take you home. 13:30, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

We shouldn't be quoting all those blogs as if they're authorities on this subject. I was about to remove the quotes until I saw PowerSmoke had already done the same. Please keep them out. ЩєазєюіδWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 13:36, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
I stand corrected on my correction -- Proxie did add those links to the hate site. (Here, too) Try to be more careful, Proxie. If I knew the way/I would take you home. 13:39, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
