Talk:Hay House

Hay HouseI am concerned about the influence of Hay House, because they don't allow rational criticism. Louise Hay's books, and those of the others, teach their viewpoint as 'received information' ie not to be questioned. Anyone who does critcize them is labeled by their followers as 'negative' 'motivated by envy' etc etc. if they were a tiny cult, this wouldn't be so worrying, but LH's influence is massive. I've ploughed through one of her books and their thinking seems just like a cult to me, but I don't think they've been labelled as one. One of my friends is under their influence, and it's like talking to someone programmed. I looked at the reviews of 'You Can Heal Your Life' on Goodreads. Only a minority object to the lack of argument. I've been searching about the internet for an opposing movement, an attemptt counter this invidious influence, but I can't find anything. I don't think they are seen as a cult yet their influence is pernicious and massive. Any suggestions? Kinraid (talk) 17:54, 14 June 2014 (UTC)Charley KinraidKinraid (talk)
