Pentagon Card Explanation[edit]

The card shows fire billowing from the Pentagon's center plaza. Anyone who has worked at the Pentagon can tell you the gallows joke that, if war broke out with Russia, we'd be the first to know because the first nuke would hit right there. The cafe located at the dead center of the plaza was even named "Ground Zero" until recently. That is probably what the card was referencing, if anything.

Fun Game[edit]

I actually bought this game, because I was reading about all sorts of different conspiracy theories, and I started watching some YouTube videos where the people claimed that this game proved that Steve Jackson was trying to warn us all about the plots of the Illuminati (or he was one of them, depending on the crank). It's pretty fun, especially if you like making fun of conspiracy theorists, card games, or both. Reverend Lucifer (talk) 01:40, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

The different editions are different[edit]

I own the 1982 edition and the first two supplements for that. I think there was no difference between it and the 1987 edition, though I'm not positive. There are minor card differences between the base 1982 edition and the 1999 edition ("Empty Vee" and "Chinese Campaign Donors" are not in my set, for example, though the card count is the same), and the supplements are very much different, with few or no identical cards. (The game quality, especially the artwork, is far superior in the later edition as well.)

None of the cards referenced in the article are from the 1982 edition, aside from Feminists and Post Office (which did not show an image of a shooter). Phiwum (talk) 15:27, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
