Editorial notes
  • Generally needs expansion. Imperialism is one of the most important topics when discussing authoritarianism, so this article should be really thorough.

America = Imperialist[edit]

It's as if the writers have never heard of "hegemony" or "soft power" -- distinct from imperialism, even if some of their effects are the same. Herr FuzzyKatzenPotato (talk/stalk) 15:44, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

Maybe the writers took a course in agitprop in 1983 Soviet Russia? Laurogeita Hamabost (talk) 15:55, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

How can Jews colonize a place that has been Jewish before there even were Muslims or Christians? Evil Zionist (talk) 14:22, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

Peanut gallery comment[edit]

Seriously... america though[edit]

I will probably add to this article soon regarding the U.S. interference with democracies around the world throughout the 20th century to ensure it got its way on the global stage. An article on Imperialism that dedicates as little as this one does to U.S. foreign policy requires fixing. Tikitime2 (talk) 19:55, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
