I'd love to add more, but unfortunately I havn't managed to get my cheap, grubby hands on a copy.Tielec01 (talk) 06:06, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

It can't be any worse than End of Faith or Moral Landscape right? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 06:34, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Expand, then highlight as a cover article.[edit]

Given the US moves towards - god knows what, this would be a really nice article to use as a "something you should know", "notice this" type article. not really sure if that means "cover story", cause cover stories are supposed to be gold standard... but book reviews like this would be nice to see.Pink mowse.pngGodotoi, putain, genial, merci 22:17, 7 March 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I wish I could have written more...but the book is a fast read, and I was pretty tired from all the writing I had done on The God Delusion. Still, I wanted SOMETHING here.-- Seth Peck (talk) 22:27, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
I don't even notice these things till they show up in Recent Changes; but some things, like reviews of current or important books like this would really add to our ... hum... presence?Pink mowse.pngGodotoi, putain, genial, merci 22:29, 7 March 2012 (UTC)

Binary Logic[edit]

This page reads like a Conservapedia article (except they say Harris is fat). I haven't read all of this book, but I've heard Harris say fundamentalists are truer to their faith than religious moderates. I didn't think Rationalwiki's role was to defend religious moderates, though. The object of Harris' scorn is faith and the Bible. The binary logic I see is "Either Sam Harris is with us or against us." Or "If we object to some things he says we should ignore the things we agree with." --Read-Write (talk) 18:58, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

We kind of end up defending religious moderates because they're less awful than religious fundamentalists. I think there have been several religious moderates on RationalWiki as well, who have made a good contribution to the site, so so in that light religious moderates get something of an easy ride here.
