Talk:Lew Rockwell
[edit] Is Lew Rockwell a socially conservative libertarian who thinks of himself as a paleolibertarian?
Found this on Wikipedia: In 1985, Rockwell was named a contributing editor to Conservative Digest.[8] During the 1990s Rothbard, Rockwell and others described their views as paleolibertarian to emphasize their commitment to cultural conservatism, even as they continued to hold anti-statist beliefs.[9] In a 2007 interview Rockwell revealed he no longer considered himself a "paleolibertarian" and was "happy with the term libertarian." He explained "the term paleolibertarian became confused because of its association with paleoconservative, so it came to mean some sort of socially conservative libertarian, which wasn't the point at all...."[10]

[edit] there you go again
Rationalwikians are always trying to tell me that they don't claim small government is the same as fascism, when right there it says that it is akin to fascism. I'll remember that next time. Burkean (talk) 08:58, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
- Um, the one that says "praxeology for fixing the economy is basically fascism with bad bow ties instead of jackboots." So yeah, you idiots are claiming the Nazis (the biggest statists ever except for perhaps Stalin) were small government and apparently would've loved a libertarian society of free exchange where people could smoke weed, and the jews could make all the money they wanted to. Yeah, the Nazis would've loved that. Bow ties instead of jack boots. My, how clever. Rationalwiki indeed. Burkean (talk) 09:00, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
